Probably does.
I try to ask, maybe you can do a variant with a metallic body ?
Just curious
A bit of geekish science though. Water is not blue... but it does affect what light gets through the deeper it is. Red light is the least energetic.. so it gets blocked by water first with depth, then yellow, then green, and the most energetic light, blue and purple, get through...thus, water appears blue or green as the light that is not absorbed gets bounced around. Not because it has color, but because it is an obstacle to light. So.... clear deep water would indeed appear blue-blueish, violet or any color on the upper range even in other planets unless there is a lot of any colored substance in it.
Seriously, pour yourself some water and shine literally any color of light through it, the more vibrant the better the effect. End result? You get water that has taken the color of whatever you shined into it. And will remain so until you stop shining that color into it.
Best examples are decorative fountains which use LEDs to color the water flowing through it for an especially fun lightshow.
dont know why they didnt do this when they created the shipsset

Thank you for the wonderful mod.
I will report the error log.
Failed to create material with shader PdxMeshShipAlpha for mesh [aquatic_01_starbase_habitat_section|g_body|g_bodyShape] in gfx/models/ships/aquatic_01/aquatic_01_starbase_habitat_section.mesh
Not sure if you wanna experiment on that while I can't, it could be fun to see.
One request, the colours are too bright, any chance we could have a command line prompt or ship design slider to adjust it?
I was literally talking with a friend about how the Aquatic ships are basically my idea ship if only I could make them purple. Thank you so much!
And a nice negative vote without a comment i love it xD
