from this angle it looks like lizard scales... maybe work with that! ... and i agree more screenshots please, maybe add a realod.GIF and show what it looks like Factory-new... also, try masking out some parts like the silencer or the magazine... try the changes out and see what looks best, but ultimately keep it the way YOU like it :) goodluck

As @SolarShadow said, more screenshots would be great. Besides that, maybe adjust the phongexponent and phongintensity values to get a less glossy finish. (3 and 255 work well in my experience. Anyway, good job my friend, and good luck. +1
