Makes Jimmy Gibbs Jr. spawn 100% of the time in the Dead Center finale. Hordes upon hordes of 3000 HP common infected that blind you with motor oil every time they smack you, and Ellis yelling "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" every time he lays eye on one.

10/10 addon, would play Dead Center finale again

Oh my god, i just thought of something dangerously funny: A mutation that replaces every common infected in any L4D2 campaign, in any chapter, with Jimmy Gibbs Jr., and Ellis always yells "NOOOOOOO" every time he sees a Jimmy!

I'm getting the Jimmy Gibbs atrium issue, I have no other population mods installed, in fact my addon list says those specific addons have no conflicts, I installed everything correctly I think but i'm still getting the issue, any ideas?

Yeah, open my Correction to Population mod or Un/Common Infected Re-population (preferably mine, since Un/Common Infected Re-population hasn't been updated in a while. If you want is population anyway, then you will have to find areas that have been added after is last update and add them in yourself.) and extract the folders and addoninfo to another folder, then change the population.txt file to include the models from SWAT Unit with military common infected. After this drag the folder containing the scripts folder onto vpk.exe, which is located in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\bin. If is not there, you will need to install Left 4 Dead 2 Authoring Tools, which are located in software tab of your Steam library. This will make it into a vpk, drag the vpk into your addons folder located in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2

@Beel, apparently so! I honestly thought that particular mod was a texture replacer only, so I didn't realize or recall that it also had population data with it. And I really appreciate the feedback! I assume that's all done via GCFScape? Thanks for everything!

I see. So it was populations conflicting issue. As to how make them compatible: you will have to put his infected models into the population with my new areas. Then there will be the required areas and the infected models you want

After several hours of debugging and troubleshooting, I found that the cause was SWAT Unit with military common infected for L4D1 and 2 , if anyone else runs into this issue as well! Sorry for the confusion!

I checked it with my nav and everything was fine. I checked my nav and the population area is correctly specified. I even checked Un/Common Infected Re-population and it has the area. So i have no idea why it happens for you

@Beel, I wanted to let you know that I encountered an issue on C1M4 (The Atrium) where the console alerts that there's "No area population" for the level and nothing but Jimmy Gibbs Jr.(s) spawn in, as @Tyler the Priest had happening. Disabling this restores the area population for that chapter.

This is regardless of which population mod I use, whether it's Correction to Population or Un/Common Infected Re-population (never at the same time). Have all dependencies and have been running this particular mod load order since 2021, but I've never seen this before. Any advice? Thanks for any help in advance and for this mod!

Yes, just use this one and Correction to Population for Offical Campaigns. And for the Custom Campaigns use my other nav mod and my other population mod.

Ah, I think I understand what'cha mean, but I just want to make sure that I understood correctly! So... did you mean I should continue to use this nav mod in conjunction with the population mods I'm using official campaigns; but for custom campaigns I should use a different nav mod you made in conjunction with a population mod by you?

Custom Campaigns use default Vanilla populations. So population mods will work with them. This nav mod is for Official Campaigns, so it won't affect any other map.

I have another nav and population mods for Custom Campaigns, but as you can see, my nav mods pretty much only work with my populations, since they have custom ones made by me. You will have to switch between populations though (disable one and activate the other). Not the nav mods though, but like i said earlier, the nav mods only work with my population so Vanilla or any other won't work.

Also i don't think you will have to disable SI mods. If the map has a custom one already and it crashes, then try disabling them and seeing if it fixes it

Howdy!

Just wondering if this mod would cause any issues while playing custom campaigns? I've added a lot of population mods over the last few days to make the left 4 dead 2 campaigns really come alive, and this corrected nav mod makes it even better! But... as custom maps tend to have their own populations and infected in them, would having this enabled while playing cause issues?

Just wondering as I've enjoyed using some population mods recently, and not sure what ones would need to be disabled for custom campaigns (if any). I also have a lot of mods that make different typed of special infected, would that need to be disabled to? Just don't want to crash my game or anything hehehe

sir, I just want to know if there is a population mod that combine 1 and 2 zombie nicely and allow fallen survivor in every mission, right now what I am using is l4d1/2 population mix, varity is perfect, however no fallen surviors
