lofty_irisil_fixoutpostteleporter, so it's the irisil mod. i'll see about including a fix for that in the existing patch, i wasn't aware the mod had updated.

esther still shows up on my end. i can't help you unless you go to the ark (with esther not appearing) and then send me a copy of your latest log to see why she's failing to load in.

that mod doesn't touch either outpost.json or universeflags.config, so i'm pretty sure that's not the one causing that issue. are you using osb? if you warp to the outpost, it'll list out the names of ever dungeon being placed. i could investigate from there.

It seems that FU Story Tweaks forcefully spawns the teleporter section of the ruin (above the ship)
Which is a shame.
any recommendation on figuring out a way to patch it out?

it doesn't touch that npc, only slightly moves their spawn. byos will work without issue

Gotta say, this was a nice fleshing out of what vanilla Starbound's Outpost could've been like. Though I rarely do this, I've decided to put this mod within my to-install list (alongside Extra Dungeons), and as such, I've made support for this mod for my own mods a priority. It's that good IMO.

By the way, the mod that I've added support for this mod towards? It's my more recently-released Non-Linear Artifact Quests mod.

story progress is saved to the universe, and not the player. when making a new character, you need to run the command "/resetuniverseflags" to reset all story progress.

I do have a question, when i first arrive all the store are already open, is that supost to be like that?

this was developed and tested without mods entirely, barring a few utility ones i use specifically for testing. i recall having this same issue happen to me a few times, but i believe it has something to do with main story progress and wasn't an actual bug. if you haven't done so already, finish the outpost scanning quest. if you're further ahead than that, try resetting your universe flags and re-adding them based on how far in the story you are.

The bartender haven't been giving be the dreadwing quest even when I remade my modlist without the outpost overhaul (with full data wipes and different mod combinations), so I think that is some of other mods I grabbed doing inappropriate things with the game. I think the only things I haven't tried is a full reinstall and (silly me, realised while writing this) trying to play vanilla a bit to test if it works without mods.
Have you tried testing without mods?

figured it out, steam made a backup of my universe with diferent set of mods and decided it was a good idea to redownload it, bunch of wiered stuff that was bugged out, i just nuked the universe

i haven't been modding starbound for a while - the latest update was just me releasing the changes i made to the mod before my hiatus - but i'm pretty sure this mod will at least temporarily fix the issue by removing the room outright.

I'm no expert, but in my understanding since outpost is an instance and generates every time you visin, it shouldn't break;
when I added shadow expansion, pixel equipment and arsenalbound nothing was broken for me

well it doesnt break it but the maple 32 adds an room to the outpost which doesnt spawn on your variant

So for anyone curious about Maple32, this mod is suppose to be 100% compatible, if Maple32 outpost gets removed it is designed that way if you have the bookseller installed. If you do not have the bookseller installed and it is still disappearing definitely report it to the Maple32 mod author. All of this info can be found in the Maple32 discussion page.

also The Ark teleporter isnt automaticaly added to your teleport list meaning if you forget to register it and fly away you will lose access to the ark

the tutorial quest "visit the outpost" is unfinishable coz for some reason the sign shop cant be scaned correctly so you cant finish the quest

What did you add to have that kind of lightning and radial illumination around light sources? I've seen it in a few screen captures, is it reshade or something?

Is there a patch for Maple32? Maple32 puts an npc in the outpost, and the npc is not located there anymore with this mod. Also, will the Vanta patch be updated? I've read that there is an issue with it.

Found the issue it was because of "outpost visitor fix"

All npcs in the outpost are dead (pixels on the ground, some penguin teleporting in die on arrival).

Any idea what could be the issue ??

Sorry for being short there. I understand your spot. Completely. I'm currently frustrated because of the abandonment and the way many mods are handled by modders.
They do not understand the patch process completely, including .lua files, or include other edits within a mod that are not related, often not needed, or described as in the mod.
Anom's is one of the best done (and only Outpost expanding) mod. It has been made with great care and thought in making it expandable and accessible to other modder's to avoid any conflict.
Unfortunately...most mods do not use the meta or other tools available to not only avoid crashes but also conflicts.
seems I did a bad job of it as well.

Bro, some people don't have the attention span to get everything, they try with a quick read, skip some things, and end up not getting the whole picture.

My main issue was that "the ark can be found via the portal in starter planets", but sandbox messes that up, and we literally can't get to the ark at all with that mod. THAT breaks a few things with other mods. It took me a while to figure out and I didn't want to go the console command route yet.
