Nice work, it would be great if you did the same with the weapon parts of the rest of the weapons that are procedurally generated, better butts, cannons and middles, even add new parts for more variety hehe

I wish the Neo Uzi didnt and the Neo Pistol didnt have that laser sight. other than that I LOVE this mod! I felt the same way.

I don't think D.Eagle would be gangsta's best friend. That's literally too expensive for G to keep the hunting pistol. M1911 would fit that more.

Good job! These fit the cartoony style perfectly! Only qualms are with the massive alteration in the lazercaster, looks a bit strange.

Ah, I see. Neat.

Now that you mention it, they do have some similarities, but I was rather inspired by the Desert Eagle. Was looking for "Gangsta Handguns from the 80s" for inspiration. The results didn't satisfy me and so I looked to Far Cry for it.

Cool! Didn't realize there was an upgraded version. Btw, were the neo pistol resprites inspired by the handgun / phoenix blaster from Terraria? The sprites look very similar to the aforementioned guns.

Yup.
Cyan Spartan17 19. úno. 2021 v 7.48
Wait what's the white version of the neo pistol? Is it the upgraded version?

Just to provide a little more help, here are a couple invaluable tools:

https://chbrown.github.io/rfc6902/ - Another patch builder/tester
http://helmet.kafuka.org/sbmods/json/ - Kawa's Starbound Toolkit. A bit sparse, but handles JSON features that Starbound added that are not standard.
https://web.archive.org/web/20181224052344/http://trinithis.awardspace.com/commentStripper/stripper.html - A JSON comment stripper

Otherwise, while I won't be using this mod myself, I just wanted to say that's some nice sprite work.

I've applied the patching method. Thank you for making me aware of it! I found Ceterai's guide very useful. For anyone who is new to modding Starbound : https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2124444255

No worries mate. If you'd like some help with understanding a patch file, I'd recommend this article [starbounder.org]. It's not too comprehensive, but it's a great point of reference to start from.

I'm new to modding this game and I just made a dirty edit to the file. This is how I usually start out in any game I mod. I'll look into using a patch file. Thank you for the feedback.

Curious why this is incompatible with neolaserlauncher.activeitem changes. Do you mean it isn't compatible if they also touch the offsets, or did you not use a patch file?

Overall, if I'm understanding the graphic right, I like your changes, they look more detailed and a little better shape-wise.
