The mod doesn't work :(
The weapon in the hands doesn't look as it should.
Perhaps this is related to the latest version of Ravenfield?

I don't know exactly how that bug was caused btw, but it has something to do with ragdolling, respawning, and using freecam, and it's basically the view you see when ragdolled with this mutator, plus the normal first person view, rendered on top of eachother, meaning that one view shakes while you're running, is rotated to the right a bit, and so on

great mod, but I've just experienced a bug that somehow caused ragdoll view and normal view to be overlayed, and that gave me an idea: is it possibe to show the first person view you see when the option "always enabled" in the mutator's settings is enabled, but with the viewmodel overlayed?

I got a quick little suggestion: An FoV slider. Or have it tied to the in-game FoV settings.

I luckily don't suffer from motion sickness, but first person ragdolls tend to make me feel a little dizzy whenever I got my FoV set to low(Below 85). Best way I can describe it is a feeling similar to looking at flashing lights if you don't have epilepsy.

awesome mod, makes the game so much more immersive. I just wish we can have "realistic first person" mode. Kinda like in battlefield where if you look down you can see your own torso and legs

Is there any way you could be a total wizard and make it play the draw animation (for your current gun) or something after you get up? It feels a little clunky when you get up, and your gun magically (~magic!~) appears in your hand...

Besides that, this is a great mod, and really makes the game more ~ouchie~

it sounds like you turned on the "always enabled" checkbox in the mutator settings. just keep that off and the mod should work as intended. i should probably add more documentation for how that feature is supposed to work since it was only added as an afterthought on request

Using default skins, no enhancements or anything. The hand and guns clip into each other and aiming zooms in unnaturally. Leaning doesn't work, and the models of both the hand and guns obstruct the view too much for me to play well. I have messed with the zoom in and zoom out tweaks, not much help.

it seems to still work fine for me. if you're using a non-vanilla skin, you'll need to adjust the cam forward/backward % in the mutator's settings since different skins have different sized heads. if that isn't the problem, then do these bugs happen all the time or just when you're ragdolled?

mod is bugged for me, don't really know what to do. this mod clips the hands and guns together and blocks sight of everything

@legenscarde w/ always on mode, the scopes aren't really intended to be functional. the feature was really just a second thought on suggestion.

same! i like looking down at my body and actually seeing something there. i don't understand why a lot of FPS games do the invisible body floating arms/guns thing, just a minor peeve of mine. guess it's easier to program that way?

this mod + third person camera comes close. id attempt making a realistic first person camera but i don't know sh!t about modding, lol.

so that option just gives you a view of what the game renders in the third-person (in other words, the animations and poses you see for other bots). because aiming down sights doesn't show in the third-person and hands aren't perfectly aligned for each weapon, you get these effects.
