is it possible to make it so that the javelin cannot be stopped by enemy tanks deploying smoke? (real javelin will still hit a tank even when thye have deployed smoke unless its IR smoke and even then it will still normally hit the tank)

Can you make Russian Lancet which works similar to this? Instead u hold the whole Javelin to shoot, u can hold a binocular and lock on the vehicle and then a kamikaze drone just come up from the sky and go kaboom

I am absolutely certain it's not flares lol. I have watched the target do nothing as the missile flies up and despawns on its own.

The missile may just be reacting to flares. missiles will just fly away when a fair is deployed to scramble the targeting system

I play all kinds of maps lol. I'm not 100% sure that that's the problem, if it is actually hitting the ceiling and despawning, but numerous times I've seen the missile launch, fly up into the air, and then just disappear.

That happens all the time,i've had the crates blow up after throwing a grenade on the opposite side of the map,pretty sure it's an issue with the gamemode

so when you use the javelin in spec ops and one of the objectives is to destroy ammo crates. when the missile impacts the target that you locked on to will destroy the ammo crates when you are nowhere near that objective.

I will try to fix it, btw are you playing on EA22 Beta? (Just as far as I know all rockets/exploding projectiles were broken in this update)
Also are you sure that vehicle didnt use smoke grenades/ir countermeasures

Idk why, not sure if it's a bug or not, but after firing the missile, it would never hit the marked target unless it was stationary, as it auto reloads even though the option is turned off. Doesn't happen for the second missile.
