@Sidai I get a Object reference not set to an instance of an object [System.NullReferenceException] when I try and load into the map. No mods, no dlc, full base game. Any thoughts on why that could happen?

It's not that mod. Just tried adding back the rest of the mods except Electric Roads and I had bad sim speed again.
And it MUST have to do something with the map; tested it on other saves and all was fine. It's just this map experiencing this issue. I know that's weird, but that's how it is.
Very annoying, I really want to play this map, but for me it's buggy :(
I wasn't far in the game, will try a new game and see what's happening

@Sa'Kagé: i'm glad you found the issue for you. but a map can not be incompatible with a mod, maybe this mod is incompatible with some other mod you have. and second i have this mod too and never experienced any issues.

I had a sudden inspiration and I think this map is incompatibe with Klytes Electric Roads mod. The only other things I activated at same time are theme and LUT and I'm quite sure that's not the problem.

Ok. Seems to be a problem with one of my mods. Did a quick play 100% vanilla, more residents and yet no drops on sim speed. That's sad, the map is gorgeous, but I don't know, if I wanna check out each of my mods (I got quite some) and depending on what mod is causing this I would rather discard the map than the mod.

Anyone else having drops on simulation speed on this map? Looks like slo-mo I'd say 2 times a minute for a few seconds. My hardware is not at its limits; 3GB RAM left and CPU at about 30%. Probably caused by some of the buildings outside current build borders?

@OddSobriquet: You don't need to download the intersections separately, they are listed to honor their creators. And while i integrated them into the map, i removed the Mass Transit requirement and converted them to vanilla roads.

Hi, I'm a little confused atm.
in the list of the intersections you used there are a few that require the mass transit dlc, yet the map is advertised as vanilla. Do I need these listed intersections or can I go without?

@adamjan77: thanks mate. Cims usuallly take the fastest route to their goal. if you change something on road routes give the game some time to re-calculate the routes. it usually takes some time until the changes have some effect.

I started my city next to the Broken Trumpet Intercharge. I constantly have newcomers but they do not use this intercharge, no cars are driving in and out. In fact, whole flow is managed via the road comming from the Sunday intercharge by agusingnavy. I used various options offered by TM:PE, even cut the road, but nothing changed. Did you notice such issue before? Or maybe I am doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for any advise.

@ChrisKen777: the mod is not needed for the map to be playable -> vanilla. you can use the map without anything and you will be fine. it's needed for the vanilla buildings that produce power and water already placed on this vanilla map because there is a stupid vanilla bug in the vanilla game. if you want to play the vanilla map, dont download the mod and play -> vanilla. if you dont like this vanilla map the please use one of the other thousands of vanilla maps available in the workshop. have fun doing so.

I can read just fine.
By your own admission, "81 tiles" is needed for the map to function correctly. Not vanilla.

Yeah, the 81 Tiles seems to be needed to get the infrastructure to work properly. You dont have to unlock the tiles, just have the mod downloaded and installed. This is a known issue with the game."

Ok, playing around a bit I noticed a similar issue on Kerrisdale: The windmills don't seem to provide power. The damn works there, but the windmills do not, so that map has no water (despite the many pumps and pipes that are there and presumably should be powered by the surrounding windmills).

EDIT: Just as I was about to post this, I found your comment on Kerrisdale that the 81 tiles mod is needed to make the infrastructure work. A note in the description about this would be nice, it just mentions it's needed for playing on all tiles (obviously), but I wasn't planning on that.

First of all, this map is fantastic looking! Thank you very much!

But like maxpower below, I also have a problem with the Power. I just started, and it shows that I have like 90MW of power available, but I clearly do not. The power line coming into the starting square doesn't seem to be connected on the other side.

Checking with cinematic camera, it ends next to a windmill where the "disconnected" symbol flashes over the power pole. Is that intended?

hey Max, I'm not 100% sure but if weather gets too cold, people might be using electricity for power and that might be causing the surges. I have no idea at all, I haven't been able to check your savegame, just an idea :)

Hi Sidai. I love this map, but I have come across something which may need your expertise. As you can see in the below screenshot, and after playing for about 45 minutes, I started getting clusters of electricity complaints (shortage of electricity). It is evident that the demand is lower than supply. AND, I have, for assurance, added several wind turbines just to see what happens. The complaints remain. They are clusters and random and I can't figure out why. Everything is neatly connected.
Is it related to the original power supply that you have installed in the game from the get go or could it be something else?

I have been looking for a map to play on for a couple of days. I came across a few contenders that all had too many compromises, then this came along. Simply incredible. Plenty of bulidable area, rivers, mountains, sea, plains, forests, hidden secrets. Loads of useful features already implemented for your inspiration. Can't wait to start building on this gem. 5 stars all day! One of the finest maps on the entire workshop.

Hi Sidal. Map loads perfectly for me. I've been playing on this map for a couple of weeks now and I absolutely love it. Specially love the ready-made piers/docks areas and the trainlines... and those roads up in the hilly areas are just lovely. I'm on a laptop... when populations goes above 80.000 it's game over for me. I started over yesterday... with a different plan... I already see so many different ways to play this map.
