Hi Billia, I am a fan of your portraits. I updated this mod to work with 3.12 and 3.13 and republished it here. https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3353777630 I combined all 4 of your portrait mods into one for easier distribution.

I also remade the thumbnail to include more portraits. I hope you don't mind.

If you would like me to take down the work please let me know, or if you would like me to give you the updated code I can do that too. Any other changes you would like to see, just let me know. I intend to help keep it working for future versions of Stellaris.

Hey fans. I am unable to come back to the modding scene for now, but I give anyone permission to take over this mod and bring it back to life. Perhaps you have some other favorite portrait modders you might be able to convince to revive this on my behalf :D

Would there be any chance this mod is updated to the newest update and dlc? I love these portraits but can't use them now :(

If by any chance this mod is revived, I would recommend an AI upscaler (something which has been around for ages before anyone gets mad about "AI art" or something, upscalers are completely unrelated) perhaps to fix the blurriness of some portraits.

@Billia Hey, um... Any chance of putting these into the main machine portrait category? I can't use mods for machine traits because selecting these doesn't register as a machine race to the other mods.

I have had a bug with this where occasionally human hair (head and face) will show above my portraits... also, I feel they are very blurry compared to the base game... OTHERWISE a great mod.

Could you add a set of namelists to this? I'm noticing species that spawn with this portrait lack localizations for their name.

Love the portraits, and I hope you update this mod soon for 3.4 as well as add some species_names to them. Unfortunately, as it stands their names appear blank when the AI use them.

Hi! Are you ok if I include your mod in a large portrait patch (still requiring users of the patch to subscribe to your mod) but modifying some files to include the portraits in the default Paradox categories?

They all have red versions as skins but they should not all ONLY be red. Did you try changing the colors in the leader portrait section?

Might wanna add some species_names to all your Additional Machine Portrait mods, even though they're just copies of the vanilla Machine names - prevents them spawning without species names.

Yes, that's correct. Maybe in a future update I will try to figure out a way to let the player choose.

@Billia, maybe, from what I can tell you can't change an existing machine species' appearance to these ones though.

Thank you for the bug report. I will update the mod to remove the line :)

@Triskelion, the mod is currently set to allow 50% chance of any empire's robots to appear as these ones. :) If enough people want it, I can make an additional mod that does 100%

no idea on the effects, but current (3.2) vanilla Machine and Robotic species doesn't have that line anymore.

hey, could you try and move the portraits into the machine category so empires with robot pops can change how their robots look to these?

Interesting. Line 12 is indeed just robotic = yes. Not sure why it would throw an error like that. Is it game breaking? What were the symptoms?

To all my loyal subs, I am currently updating this mod to 3.2. This update will include two new portraits for you to play with; Aquatic and Necroid themed. I'm just finishing up the art now. Then I'll get the rest of the XML files figured. I'm aiming for release by the end of the year at the latest. Thank you all for your overwhelming support!

Could I use some of this mod's portraits for an event chain in Gigastructural Engineering & More? They look great and would fit quite well as some of the chain's characters. Credit would of course be given in the mod's description.

I'm afraid I've been super busy with real life and lost a bunch of motivation for maintaining this mod. I don't want to call it abandoned yet, cause I could see myself coming back to it, but for now lets say its on temporary hiatus. If any other modders would like to pick it up and port it to the latest game version, they have my full permission.

@Billia The Duplication errors are not as much of a problem, it is the missing sound files and the mesh settings error that worry me more. The Duplication lines are from duplicate dds files. I don't know if the game just looks at their names or at their contents as well, most likely it only looks at the names.

Thanks for pointing these out to me. I have not seen any other conflicts from other users or in my play tests. So I will need to try and find out why thats happening. Also, the textures you mentioned are from the companion mod: Forgotten Automatons. You may try disabling one or the other to get compatibility.
