Hey Howdy! I've got a question for you. I'm wanting to make a Wild West (1865-1916) weapon pack for FFS. the only problem is, I've never modded a thing in my life. I looked at the FFS mod's creators DIY, but I can't find any files related to the DIY weapons folders to edit.(I use Steam) I also have no clue what to use for animating/making the weapons models. any help/advise would be welcome.

werent there at some point in history someone combine a sabre and a revolver and it worked ? how about that for a firearm that has close combat ?

I literally just fixed the caliber for the Ideal 44 being .45 instead of .44 like it should be
If I do more it will be a separate mod

Make a Sharps carbine (literally a Stevens Arms 'Ideal' 44 with a bigger cartridge which means bigger damage(Unless the sharps is a Stevens Arms 'Ideal' 44))

Sounds good. I also wanted to do another mod with Civil War weapons or maybe even Mexican American War weapons if I have the time. The time overlaps the Old West too. Lots of black powder weapons there though, muzzle loaders too. The reload of these would be really long, would be more replicas than balanced usable weapons. Once Ravy adds fixed weapons as well I wonder if I could make cannons from them.

Which ones BLU? You can use them, I'm just curious. Just give me credit like you would anyone else. They are just modifications of the original animation and lua that Lyetzi made. Some of the custom animation are just custom animation frames but most are custom arm movements and lua timing too.

Which skirt? The novakid one is just the 'gunslinger' pants I think, the icon skirt is just pixel art.

I don't plan on adding any more guns, these two are relatively small arms companies with a limited number of original weapons especially Stevens. I just used some of what I thought were some of the more interesting weapons.

I just pulled the data for the 22 LR ballistics from wikipedia for both and really the revolver should have less muzzle velocity because the table there was for a 18.5 in barrel, the revolver is 6. These are real weapons, but if you want I could update the mod with the other calibers of these weapons and the accurate muzzle velocity for the barrel lengths. All I need is to change the damage values and firing sfx. There were .32 and .38 for the revolver and .25, .32 and .44-40 for the rifle that were basically the same weapons bored larger and/or with a different cylinder.

This is a really cool mod, great work jelly! Also, maybe up the damage on the rifle slightly so it isn't overshadowed by the revolver? Just a suggestion

I don't know what to tell you for the shop, it still works for me even with a character that has already used both shuttles. I think the reload is working as intended. The reload gives the weapon 100 energy and due to how 9 divides into 100 there is 0.1 energy left after 9 shots. At some point when I was testing it did auto-reload but stopped when I restarted the game, don't know why.

Well, I cant fix the Papachino problem somehow... I tried but didnt work..anyway, I got them with the code, thx! And I find a tiny bug that the revolver, after shooting all its bullets out, it didnt reload automatically if you hold the attack button(right mouse) instead, it just repeats the shooting animation and shoot nothing unless reload manually.

It should be at the bottom of the list when you buy from Papachino, it worked when I tested it with a new character, you might have to reload Papachino if it's not there already.
