We need more mods like this, small changes not completetly changing everything.
I love this addon, I think it's the perfect shotgun. Black Mesa's vanilla shotgun has bothered me a bit, because it looks very different than the typical SPAS 12, but I didn't want to install mods that replace it entirely, because it loses it's originality. This in my opinion is the ideal middle ground between the two options.
Error Vertex File for 'weapons\v_shotgun.mdl' checksum -1970186432 should be -75222185

That's awesome.
Sounds work everywhere else though
What I didn't like was the viewfov, which made it look huge and bulky.
For the long time now, I have been using this mod from Gamebanana.

This improves the viewfov and enhances its HL1 appeal. A combination of your addon and this would make a true Half-Life 1 Shotgun remake.
I would say "now if we could just get the MP5 fixed (more centered) we'd be golden!" but you've already gone and brought back the original one, so there's obviously no need.
Honestly it's weird how such a simple change completely fixes the whole thing , kinda wish somebody had done this sooner/that model was like this from the beginning.
