The new 2.6.5 build planner seems far less intuitive than the old one where you just set a monthly stipend to the build fund and it auto-built useful stuff for you. In 3.0 the province selector works very well but it just isn't to par in 2.6.
They are effectively different games.
M&T 3 is to M&T 2 as M&T 2 is to Vanilla EU4.
That is to say, M&T 3 is a much deeper economic simulator at the cost of being more opaque.
They are both enjoyable, Go watch some Count Cristo videos if you want an introduction to M&T 3.
1. Go to Steam library, right click Europa Universalis 4
2. Click Property (at the bottom)
3. Click the BETAS tab
There's an additional hurdle if you want to access a patch older than 1.27 but if you just want to play this mod, no need.
2.6 with Historical Immersion mod still rules. Shame this mod not getting any updates.
Don't get me wrong, I can see that mod developers really put an incerdible ton of work into 3.0., and I appreciate that. But the new economic system in 3.0. just isn't enjoyable to me. But there were many other changes related to other stuff like culture conversion that I liked, is there any chance we will see some improvements to this version of the mod as well? Or is it going to just stay as 2.60. forever? :(
