This is so much more thematically appropriate. I am disgusted that the devs chose the vanilla song for the Outpost. It is the same theme used for the Protectorate, if you don't remember. -_- Yeugh! Totally different vibe! You chose well.

Ultramarine plays on various planets with hazard levels above moderate, meaning toxic planets, volcanic, etc. Gives a sense on how active or dangerous the planet is. Playing this on the Outpost helps with the realization that there is a lot of danger to experience and there is always an adventure. It is a great song choice to use.

Well, depends on what you want. If you want to replace a biome's music pool with more intense music, I'd suggest using Kawa's JSON lab to figure out the right patch, since you'd be removing all existing songs and adding new ones. If you just want to replace the audio files directly, that works too, just replace them with a different song renamed to the same name.

Asking technically if this can be done manually in case one wants to change some of the default music tracks that play for other things? (like the awful peaceful music that'll lull me to sleep while I'm trying to build my HQ!) If so, would it follow the same info you gave in the technical section or would there be more steps to follow?

Then I'd suggest using Frackin' Universe (which has portable and normal jukeboxes that can play all the music in the game files) or another radio mod. Adding music to the shipworld would likely cause a good amount of issues, and I'm not skilled enough to do so.
