I cant seem find the angel option in the byos FU ship selection screen, the official isn't working and this one doesn't show the option on it either

The official and this mod are not working, I can not find the angel race boys ship option in the selection screen, can anyone use it normally

It seems this is still required as SAIL seems to go "failsafe" without this mod. Cheers for keeping it up as it is still apparently required. Have a fancy pants~

@Labyrinthia, Very much appreciated that it actually helped with making Angels a FU BYOS friendly race again, still weird that Angs need 2 different mods make it FU BYOS friendly but at least I get to build my avali/angel hybrid ship and stations 😁

Glad this mod fixed your issue, it's no longer supposed to be needed though...

After using the Official FU BYOS patch for angel race, i've come to realize that this patch is actaully needed to be able to play as Angel race and use the FU BYOS system. I just talked with Satyer and he says that Angels are supported by FU and it needs the Official patch, but i tried that and it still projected an after image.

TLDR: Your mod here makes it so you can play as an angel race in true FU BYOS without getting a background image of the angel ship. thank you.

If this mod is no longer needed I'll update the title and description. But I haven't played Starbound for a bit.

@Apple Cider This mod should no longer be needed, the Angels race has been added to the FU Modded races BYOS patch mod.

Looks like if you have this mod installed you cant choose to keep the vanilla ship or else the teleporter doesnt exist and you have to make a new character and either choose to have the byos option or just uninstall this mod and not be able to have byos at all. Currently there is no apparent fix I can seem to find for this, but its a minor inconvenience for choice, though I would greatly appreciate it being either fixed or if I happen to be wrong about all this then I would further experiment to see what I should do to fix this single issue. You have good mods all around though.

@TheyCallMeTeehee If you want to BYOS you have to chose one of the FU presets, you can't use BYOS and have the angel ship at the same time.

@TheyCallMeTeeHee I haven't played Starbound in a bit, but I think that's just how building your own ship. The default angel ship is a large pre-made sprite. And the build your own ship is completely made of blocks.

When you wake up in the ship after escaping Earth, it looks like the angel ship, but when you talk to S.A.I.L and choose Frackin', he wants you to choose a model...which completely loses the angel ship. Am I just doing something wrong?

@Pride When using FU if a normal ship is used it is repaired before the erchius mine quest is done, and when using byos you need to make a ftl drive.

duno, maybe iam stupid or something, i dont know why the ship restard from byos to normal and i am unable to travel afther the mining quest, maybe i should check again

Ok I tested it and this still works even after the new FU update, I don't know why Pride is having problems, I am using over 500 mods and it works.

@Pride What BYOS did you chose?

well i try whit 4 characters already and have to delet all, i am unable to use byos, when i use it afther the quest of the minin place the ship go back to a normal one and the furniture stuck outside the ship, also i cant travel to another places mmmm i dont know why

@Pride It's been awhile since I've played Starbound, so I can't say for sure if it works. As far as I'm aware there has been no major changes to how adding BYOS support works.

If it is broken for real, I'll attempt to fix it as soon as I can.
