Just don't install VPK mods in your Gmod addons folder if you're doing a manual install.
Unpack/extract VPK files into a folder first and then stick it in addons.
Tell me more mr. expert
by the way very good job, keep it up!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sounds like a you problem.
head to the Half-Life 2 mod link and you'll find download links to 1K and 2K versions there (you'll have to install them manually though, you'll also need GCFScape to extract files from VPKs)
See, i've had a WIP scanner mod for hl2 for a while, but it's not all that great in terms of detail, i.e. the front plates are not connected to the body at all and a few other things that don't make any sense, not to mention the heavily outdated shaders from more than a year ago.
And there isn't a lot of scanner models available that i'm aware of.
Also don't ask for hla content, i'll let jqueary handle those.
Oh well, i guess it was time for a cleanup anyway.
And thanks ^ ^
thanks for giving the manhacks some love btw.
Oh, now i remember you.
Yeah sure thing, use them as you like :D
P.S. I've got a crapton of things going right now, so i can't keep up with everything and remember everyone :c
What kind of mod?
is there a rollermine version
Maybe one day, if i'll find something on the internet...
And where exactly am i going to get the assets from? Buy them?
I don't have money to spend on buying assets on the internet to use them in my personal mods instead using them in some kind of project or smth.
so ye...
Because someone [gamebanana.com] requested it :D
Good thing he showed me this model and we're lucky that it's free (i can't afford to buy 3D models :c )
actually, that ain't no spotlight, that's exhaust (literally, the bone it's attached to is called exhaust)
