...it's confused some people because this mod creates an error when it adds to a steam collection, so it's always listed in notes, rather than on a workshop list.
Sometimes better is being less overpowered. You can disable that behavior in MCM if you don't like it.
You might need to run the console command mentioned in this mod's description.
Rookie equipped with disposable rocket launcher -> Promoted to Grenadier -> The disposable rocket launcher still shows up her back even though she is no longer equipped with it. It only shows up in in-mission, not in barracks or any other screens.
Please help >_<
Thank you very much
Since you actually bothered to type out a coherent question (as opposed to lazy muppets that just ask "LWOTC?"), I'll give you the courtesy of the answer:
I don't know.
However, Kiruka has a Mod Jam mod project going on that adds various compatibility patches for all kinds of mods for LWOTC, so perhaps you could check that out, see if that mod has a compatibility patch for Disposable Rocket Launchers.
In mod's configuration files. The mod description tells you where to find them.
(Mods: LWotC and Primary Grenade launcher)
I've noticed that sometimes when you equip a rocket it take the place of an already equipped item, it's the only mod item that does this so I suppose that cause all these issues.
will commenting out the
RPG_Secondary_ItemCat = "weapon"
RPG_Secondary_WeaponCat = "iri_disposable_launcher"
RPG_Heavy_ItemCat = "weapon"
RPG_Heavy_WeaponCat = "iri_disposable_launcher"
make it a util only weapon? or do i need to do more?
Fixed, sorry about that.
"..\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1626184587\Config\XComDisposableLaunchers.ini", there is no 1626184587 file. It's 1723334446.
The author of the mod said that this bug is still here, and it still happen to me, the solution is in the "Known issues" section.
Now if you have an overhaul mod that disable console command well........ there is another rocket launcher mod that work better but is a bit different.
As to why it happen I guess if we remove the number of rocket launcher a soldier can carry it would solve the issue to some extend.
Try using the "UnequipDisposableLaunchers" console command twice.

This is a known issue with the mod, although I didn't realize it was still happening. In any case, the solution is explained in the mod description.
Disposable Launchers are paired weapons. The item you equip in the Utility Slot is just a dummy. The actual DRL on the soldier is the paired template. You can find template names for both inventory item and "real" item in this mod's localization files that can be opened with any text editor.
+WEAPON_REPLACEMENT=(ACCEPTOR_TEMPLATE=RPG_MG, DONOR_TEMPLATE=RPG_CV)
+WEAPON_REPLACEMENT=(ACCEPTOR_TEMPLATE=RPG_BM, DONOR_TEMPLATE=RPG_CV)
+WEAPON_REPLACEMENT=(ACCEPTOR_TEMPLATE=RL_MG, DONOR_TEMPLATE=RL_CV)
+WEAPON_REPLACEMENT=(ACCEPTOR_TEMPLATE=RL_BM, DONOR_TEMPLATE=RL_CV)
Well, just installing the mod will not magically make it read your mind and do what you want. There are detialed instructions on the Weapon Skin Replacer page. Sorry but there are not enough hours in a day for me to make WSR commands for everyone for free.
post...
Pos the WSR command you made.
Disposable Launchers are two-part weapons, you need to replace both parts.
You could use my Weapon Skin Replacer.
Hmm thought I fixed that. Doesn't matter, it's a text-only problem, I'll fix it soon.
