OP is ukrainian apparently (go back a 1-2 pages), possably been drafted for all we know.

probably not going to get updated considering the new economy changes and bio-ships will require a overhaul of this mod---assuming its even possable to make the AI even half-decent with the game's current suite of hooks.

There's slightly smarter ai by Cheesemongle . I would reccomend trying it out.

I feel like that's rather bad practice---if a mod's been moot'd by a vanillia update you should leave it as outdated so people still in old versions can still play and anyone else knows the mod's not actually compatiable.....

@Delirium, just to be clear for everyone. This is true. If you subscribe to this mod, there is nothing in the folder. If you enable this mod as of right now, it will do ABSOLUTELY nothing.

@Scyobi_Empire that might be because the mod has been gutted. a few months ago an update broke the mod so one of the devs removed most of the mod iirc so now its just literally nothing. I heard that somewhere anyway so take it with a grain of salt

According to Irony Mod Manager, this is achievement compatible which makes no sense as years back it wasn't

i doubt its a faulty installation as i've had both Stellaris and this mod installed for ages, maybe they did integrate the code

Any news? Is the mod dead? Is it working? any updates?

There's always the possibility that the reason they've gone dark is because the devs have decided to scoop their code; I remember an announcement some time back that thanked the StarNet modders for something, and they wouldn't acknowledge it.

If that's the case, then it would really be great if they bothered to let the rest of us know so we didn't sit around wondering . Just saying.

It hasn't been updated since May 12th, and people in the comments are saying there are no actual working files in the download.

Just making an idle suggestion here, but wouldn't it be a fine idea to add a .txt file stating what your intentions are and asking subscribers to be patient , especially since there's so much uncertainty about whether @OldEnt or @savior decided to just pack up and run?

@Inerael The mod files that used to be in the folder completely broke with the recent update. The mod maker removed those files from the mod so people wouldn't complain and the mod maker could work on a fix.

The mod file is empty. All it has is a descriptor and thumbnail, no actual contents.
This applies to all Starnet AI, Starnet for NSC3 and Startech.
Do not use until it gets fixed

Mod's creators could just let themselves get rest from constant mod rebuilding bcause of Paradox releasing shitcode. Or they could be waiting for more stable build.
But such pitiful comments like "mod is dead" can easily discourage creators to continue doing any work in the future. Do u see any other up-to-date AI mode elsewhere for stellaris? Previus one doing as great job as this one, GlaviusAI wiped out a couple of years ago, there is totally no other even close AI-mod, so keep patient and maybe we will have the luck of StarnetAI returning

why is the mod file empty? is the mod just dead?

I've been using this mod and so far haven't had any issues. AI has declared war on me and on each other.

@Fran I have the same problem here. I am so used to using this mod, that I am not familiar with vanilla AI anymore.

@Fran no it's not normal, the mod was wiped in the last changelog and hasn't been reworked

Hmmmmm is it normal that the ai is barely declaring any war on each other? Even on me they don't declare any war most of the time.

Having the issue with Ingame Paradox Factions but also with my own created ones.
My Shadow's, Reaper and Borg don't have any wars mostly, even if they are hungering swarms or cybernetic killers.

My Reaper are also mostly in the top strongest factions but still aren't hungerin for blood.
