Would it be possible to have an option for it to only effect player stuff while AI are unaffected and can still friendly fire each other?

For those of you who don't speak geek, I hope this helps:

C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1582686191
Make a new folder named 1.5
Copy and paste the contents of the folder 1.4 into 1.5
Open the About folder
Open the file About.xml with notepad
Find <li>1.4</li>
Create a new line below 1.4, hit Tab, paste <li>1.5</li>
Save.
....
Profit.

pawns can be shot and damaged at with this mod if they are passing by in front of someone using misc. training's shooting target. Maybe that mod use some patch over to not damage the dummy target and it make this mod useless in that particular case

If possible to patch it thank you in advanced, if not be warned that this is a thing

And it works pretty well in 1.5 besides that, just make a folder named 1.5 and copy all things inside 1.4

Not everyone is computer savvy, they might not even know what to google to find help. That's what these forums are for, in case you forgot to google the use of community forums, to ask questions and learn. Maybe if you are unable to explain it properly so others can understand you should sit quietly in your computer chair and let the more decent members of the community help those who are not as computer savvy as you. To the ones who did explain in laymen terms how to fix some of these issues. Thank you. Your willingness to help is appreciated

For God's sake folks, are you physically or psychologically incapable of looking up how to make a local copy of a mod, then change the version number of that local copy, and use the 1.5 version local copy in your mod lists? Because for some mods like this one, THAT IS ALL IT TAKES.
No more whining, get to it.

Everything else has been updated to 1.5, but Friendly Fire Tweaks, a very important mode, has not been updated yet. I can't play the game because of this alone.

Confirmed, doesn't work with CE. My turrets DESTROY my villagers. Seems to work with my pawns vs pawns though. Ty.

A colonist was dead, it continued to do tasks and whatnot. Reloaded the save and somehow, the dead colonist was alive. Everyone who saw them dead still had the debuffs tho. Only after reloading the game with this disabled the game corrected it. Don't know why or how, but i'm keeping this enabled for the slight chance of that happening again.

Gauss weapons from VE have a unique piercing mechanic, could that be whats causing them not to be affected by this mod?

The gauss rifle from VE coil guns is indeed hitting my pawns when using by one of my colonists

About 9 of my colonists died in one ride because of a friendly fire
I have checked the settings and reinstalled the mod but still doesn't work.

My colonists keep hitting each other and my animals too, I have checked the settings and they are enabled, so I'm not sure why it dosen't work

I like the idea. I wish you could toggle specific weapons (performance friendly). I have a gripe with visiting caravans blowing themselves up with explosive weapons and incendiarys all because of a single manhunter squirell.

Any chance we could get an option to have ranged animals follow this to protect from friendly fire please? Like the gallatross explosion or the dragons ranged attacks from dragons decent? Vanilla Expanded Framework says to add a compat for VEF to have that work. Not sure what that means but hopefully that's something that can be added please

Is there a way that you can add/fix/remove this mod applying to the mini-turret pack added by Vanilla Apparel Expanded — Accessories ? Please could you add an option to have turrets act 'vanilla' while pawns are affected by the mod settings? I'd like to use the 'Shooting skill affects friendly fire chance' for my pawns, but have turrets unaffected by the mod. Thank you.
