Btw, if anyone wanna do a patch for this, or make stuff with the textures I made (the og startech themed sprites are obviously excluded, I didn't make them) you can just ask and I'll send the files I have (the ones marked "wip", as I do have the textures - I just need to fix the code)

I'm checking the new/soon-to-be reuploaded themes, and just like the first time, it isn't working as intended. I'm not even sure WHY.
I'm working on it way more actively than in the past few years, but it's still slow. I hope these will be up this year at least. I miss them myself.

It's going on the end of the list, tho. I need to get the themes that were already done up and running again first.

GOOD NEWS, THE FIRST BASIC SET IS FINALLY WORKING AS INTENDED AGAIN!!
Five items per set - controller, terminal, storagebus, drivebay and battery.

Now it's a bunch of copy/paste, folder making and renaming stuff. I'll do the wooden and the og ones that were in themed, release here, and then the rest will be modular because I *really* don't want to clutter the workbench.

(I didn't have the time to figure out why things weren't working before. I figured it out, finally.)

I'm stuck on the drivebus, the thing that connects normal storage to the network. Something is making it not work right. But I'm doing progress anyway!

Definitely hoping this gets up and running again.

I'll be getting it up and working eventually. Now for real. Just need to figure out why it broke.

I'm getting to that. I don't remember if I did avikan or droden, but I did work on trink stuff.

Need to make a template of sorts again, everything just broke and I need to start from scratch (minus the sprites)

As a Droden player I would be very happy to have more mods with content for them, cosmetic or not

Talking about getting back to this... I'm getting a server together for myself and friends, and I want this up and running. Guess a fix is in order, finally. Only took five years or so.

First off, my mod is broken, and it is still only cosmetic.

Second, that is a known bug for startech, you should check comments in there to see if you can find a solution.

I will get back to this eventually, just need me the energy to fix over 40 items. I can probably fix things easily when I open up one item, it's more than likely just some IDs or paths that need fixing, but I need to open every individual item for that.

@Yanazake I was diving through some incompats in a modpack I've stemmed off of (since theirs is so poorly done) Thank you for saving me the headache of finding which mod to disable! If you ever come back to fix it, I'll resub!

I noticed something broke this mod. I'll update it eventually, since right now I at least have a computer to work with.

Good news, I acquired a medium range laptop and with the lockdown, I'm itching to play and mod starbound again... After I finish my chores.

@Levianne The Ztarbound requirement is lifted if you have FU installed.

@Gemini Permission is needed because this messes with the races files. While it's all safe patching, I stll need to crack open the files to patch them correctly with proper names so everything works well, and the related races only have the appropriate recipes at first. This way, Avali can make the few basic options and their own, Avians can make the basic options and their own, and so on and so forth. If I didn't do that, you'd get unrelated furniture and that would clutter the craftng table a lot.

sidenote: why do you need permission from the race authors to make your own rendition of a colored pixel?

Ztarbound is part of FU now, but it's still listed under requirements (with that extra warning, when subscribing to this), is it safe to ignore that? Some mods still give errors upon loading, if their requirements aren't met, so that's why I'm asking. If it's fine to use only Startech and FU, then why not removing Ztarbound from requirements, if it's included in FU?

Sorry to tell, guys, while I still have the files, I can't test these for myself as I don't have a pc available and doubt that even if I could run the game with mods on geforce now, it's not available in my country.

This project is on hiatus, and while I want to go back to it, I still need permissions from the race authors anyway.

the neko alternate race barely has anything, id like to see what you could do with that as it is a very strange mix of style i like to see.

Oh, I see them. Same drill, need to get permission. I paused this mod for a bit, but still want to make more stuff eventually.

Draconis are not part of FU. You're thinkin' of El'dukaar, which are also dragons, but not the Draconis.

Aren't the Draconis part of FU? I'm not doing any races included in FU [the Slime being an exception, because it is also a vanilla theme] because they don't want any source material being used. Since the subject is touchy, I just up and gave up any races included [they get the FU themed stuff anyway like everyone AND the outpost one]

If not, like always, do try and talk with the owner of the race, check permissions, that stuff. I'm barely working on this for now but it still needs some more touch ups, and I'd like to add more races anyway.

Could you consider the Draconis for this mod?

@iamzid It themes the items of the StarTech mod linked in the description for races that are supported. So an unsupported race looks like base StarTech, a supported race would have the StarTech items look similar to their racial furniture

so what does this mod add to starbound? it's not exactly clear in the description.

You need startech and stardust lib. It's staded above that line and on the requirements on the right.
Frackin Universe and Ztarbound are OPTIONAL, but there are patches already included to expand both this mod and the original startech with FU. You're safe to use this with FU;

"The original StarTech is usually used with Frackin Universe, so you're safe if you have it." Does this mean I'm safe to use this mod if I use Frackin Universe and Startech or does this mean that I should not use this mod if I use both?
