i'm trying to use your bow and dagger files as a reference to a mod i'm making, but it doesn't seem to come with any .nif files, let alone any .dds files. i know they're basically retextures of existing weapons, which is what my idea comes from, but i can't get your files to check in nifskope and check for myself of any changes i need to do

@gargoyle that would kind of defeat the purpose, besides you can do that yourself. Just use the creation kit, open the nightingale bow form, change the name and stats, it will ask to create a new form. Place it somewhere, and boom, new bow.

@gargoyle, sort of but the nightingale bow will be dark blue instead of red, have a greyer wood tone and a different symbol.

@martin steam is kind of failing in a lot of ways with workshop (but suceeding in a bunch too, i have much love), check for updates to steam, skyrim, and if that fails exit and restart steam, if all that fails, wish it to work until it does or steam updates.

Falkreath sanctuary. It appears on the map when you beat the first half of the quest "With friends like these" which is started by killing grelod the kind, waiting for a courier and sleeping.

@gevatter click subscribe then launch skyrim through the launcher and wait for it to download. Then look in the falkreath sanctuary, first room, left of the door on a small bookcase. it is there

I used to shoot real recurves and used a crossbow once. true, crossbows do have more steps, and are much much more dangerous. As for the game, if it is possible, maybe the bow could just be shown dipping downwards to the players feet (out of sight) and brought back up (in sight). FIRE! just an idea.

@ronr it probably is possible, but it isn't currently something I am looking at doing, my current projects for learning and modding are quest based and custom meshing.

@ichwilliberty it might be possible, might make for a really cool companion weapon. I'll look into it.

@jonovo not opposed to it, perhaps I'll do it when I am learning custom meshes, it would be a good project to create a sleeker but similar looking bow.

OOPS, forgot one. pull an arrow out of you quiver and load it. whitch always helps.

@ichwillliberty; probably no cross bows because of the mechanics of using one. pull it out,brace it against your body, use two hands to draw it and lock it, raise it up aim and shoot. a few too many moves to animate. even for bethesda or the great up and coming modders.

@DEACON; posted on your new page. thought i'd post here too. just want to thank you again for the craftable weapons pack. going to try your frostier frost next. have to keep my eye on you. you keep coming up with a VARIETY of great mods and i don't want to miss out on any. since you are branching out in your types of mods. i have an off the wall question. is it even possible [not that you would want to] to mod buyable/useable/moveable weapons racks and cases? i ask only because mannequins and storage chest mods are out there and they work.

I like the handprints on the inside. hmm, wonder why are there no crossbows in the game? especially a dark brotherhood one would be awesome. (mod idea, if anyone knows if thats\'s possible)

Maybe you could add another version
1. Dark Brotherhood long bow (The current one, slow but with high damage)
2.Dark Brotherhood short bow (New, quick but with a little bit less damage)
damage per second should roughly be the same eg. (s 0.6 dmg 55) / (s1.2 dmg 30)
I would do it myself but i really like the armor you did and want a matching bow (my modding skills arent good enough i just cant get my edited textures to work)

@jovono the bow is a clone of the daedric bow template so I would worry about increasing the speed and screwing up the balance, it might become too op.

Hey I really like your mod BUT...
could you please adjust the draw speed of the bow? I think it is way too slow around 1 - 1.5 would be great
(the higher the faster/the hunting bow has a draw speed of 1)

hey i love this bow :D but i droped it on the ground D: and i cant find it, i tryed un-installing the mod and re-installing, to see if it would re apair in the DB but nothing happend D: any thing i can do?
