After 10 years my memories of exploring this map finally became useful when I visited the real Akihabara last month! Like props to the map author for making such an accurate map in gmod back in 2014

It's crazy if you think about it, Steins; Gate was just about 2 years old when this map came out. I hope the author is doing well, they haven't responded or shown any signs of activity for years

The bright lighting is the fault of the map itself, the creator messed up the tonemap. Turning off HDR should fix it if it bothers you that much

I want to go to Japan sometime to see some cool tourist stuff, so I researched about places to see. I'm pretty sure this is based off of a real city called Akihabara that looks similar to this.

hello yes i have found out what breaks some models to be black, gmod does not like textures with vertex texture flag on models, disabling it on each of them fixed them all. love your map.
