The pet is an alien I made, essentially they look like raptors (the feathered variety) with parasaur crests

To be entirely honest I'm not 100% sure about everything I based these dudes on. They have goat/floppy dog ears, lizard scales, bird feathers, and a mostly human face :P

If your saves were deleated than it was something else. If it was this mod it would have done that to me as well.
