Great mod but hard to notice with custom ship sets when the ships get bigger than a cruiser.

I don't think the patch changed anything that this touches. Should still work, albeit with the angry version triangle.

IS the compatible with real space ?? im trying to track down wha ti believe to be a bug where my 30 corvettes are spaced across half the solar system in real space and that should not be the case .

It will always be compatible as long as Stellaris doesn't change its Defines format.

@Black Nomad: There won't be game-breaking conflicts, but only one mod can manage ship spread, so if you want Ship Spacing to take effect, make sure you put it later than the other mods in your load order.

So, if I already use Amazing Space Battles, Real Space System Scale, Ships in Scaling and Downscaled ships - will this mod work too, or it will become a clusterfuck of conflicts?

Cause I really want something to make my formations more VERTICAL. Current battles with these mods are beautiful but frustratingly flat - and I want ships to form walls, like in LOGH or Honorverse series...

@McGuiness: Well, this mod doesn't specifically have any compatibility with third party mods built in, it's just very unlikely to conflict with anything because it deals with a very specific set of vanilla variables that few other mods have any reason to touch.
And even when there is a conflict, moving the conflicting mods around in your load order is all you need to do to determine which one takes priority.

@Atreus: You may have another mod that overrides the same defines values. If that's the case, try changing your load order and see if it helps.

@TheKitchenCalamity: It doesn't change any stats but it does change core Defines which do affect checksum. Anything that changes checksum will disable achievements.

Pretty sure NSC doesn't do shit to spread ships. Before I found this, my fleet was a blob of triangles clipping deep into each other. This shit's great. No stupid comp patches required. :happycthulhu:

Custom shipsets, yes, but I believe NSC inherently increases ship spacing so this would be redundant. But if you really want to use this alongside NSC, putting it below NSC in your load order should work.

Ever since Titans became a thing I rarely used the added ship type submods, only occasionally using the carriers. I totally get why you want to discontinue the ship types with the coming addition of Juggernauts as well. But this one I never disabled: I don't think I could go back to having all my ships clumped together on the same z-axis.

I do hope you guys at least keep this one up on the workshop, if unupdated. It seems lightweight and unlikely to be broken by patches, but then again I'm not much of a modder.

Hmm... I may end up not deleting SCX stuff from Steam after all, I just won't be updating it. But this one doesn't need updates so it should be fine if people can live with a version mismatch warning that will never go away.

the update must have done something to the mods as i had to reinstall every mod one by one it was a pain tbh haha
