vest slot doesnt appear with rpgo

if its identical, then just delete the one you dont need, and make sure this mod is the only ini file in the mod list

Is there an identical mod as this one but for ammo?

I am using the proficiency classes, any chance to enable the vest slots there? Everything I tried so far was unsuccesfull.

Mod works fine with the Duke, but the Doomslayer has an identically named .ini file that overwrites this one's

This mod doesn't seem to work with mods that add custom classes for some reason (example, the Duke Nukem and Doom slayer mods)

There's something wrong with my game, I can't use any of my vests nor i have any vest slot to equip my soldiers. I feel like one of my mods is messing with the items and preventing the vest from being equipped at all. I used to equip them before this happened. Just need to start over with the modding list again.

dont forget to remove your vests if you uninstall this mod because any equipped vests are deleted

From Augmentations mod description:

"Why the vest slot dependency?

Cybernetic torsos provide a free vest slot to your soldiers. Normal soldiers do *not* get a free vest slot with this mod active."

The augmentations mod disables that slot by default and gives it to soldiers with a torso augmentation. That is the reason why augmentations has this as a requirement.

@Ol'Sailor I had done that with the mod list and in the end it is definitely the augmentations mod as I had the vest slots available for all classes without it enabled, I tried looking through the mod files to see if I could find any bottle necks between the two and with my limited knowledge I did not, so I guess it comes down to which ever mod is preferred which kind of sucks.

@BoatyMcface15 i have and had similar problems overal its ither there or gone, one thing i noticed it can be due to bonus classes as for (samurai and etc) that can gain added slots or just a bunch of mods conflitcting one another in the most retarded way, I do not know a fix nor do i know a mod that fixes it. Id recomend checking your list and turing on and off mods as how i used to do checks, it is quite annoying but i am used to it. The whole process and overall some mods just conflicting or breaking when they shouldn't.

How does this mod run with augmentations mod? When I try to use both the augmentations mod seems to remove the vest only slot completely and I was wondering if there was a fix for this issue, either through editing the files or a simple mod fix.

Since it is not noted here and despite the slot may actually be working despite depending on which mods interfere, I'd like to note it (just in case I may forget):

[WOTC] Armour Upgrades by TeslaRage {ENLACE ELIMINADO}(https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2644686699) has a config option which specifically kills the slot (easily found in the config). This kill command even works when one tries to unlock the slot for a class (I know, I tried)

Meanwhile Iridar's Vest and Plating Overhaul may or may not unlock the vest slot even when other mods (Dress for Success, Augments, Mark Zero Augments and Additional GTS Perks WOTC) attempt to lock it.

Is this mod compatible with the Augments mod (In general id love to know with what it is compatible, because recently all i added to my mods were 3 fixes and the augments mod oh and the spec ops class-)

If possible, is there any way to expand this to add ammo as well? None of the other ammo slot mods utilize the Highlander's custom slots, and instead just override the game's data causing very annoying bugs that limit my other mods.

I want to be able to have vest slots for all soldiers, however since I am using the Operation Parallels - Doom Slayer mod, it is locked behind the Preator Enhancements perk. How can I change this without screwing up the Doom Slayer mod?

@ Scroller, thank you but after much troubleshooting and ini editing, I managed to get it to work using the Armor Upgrade slot mod, which was sort of required as I wanted to keep the Ablative Armor mods and it required this one.

The former mod adds a utility slot not a vest slot, and since it is no longer maintained actually prevents you from equipping any vest (tested with just it and Highlander). Failing that is there another mod that allows you to have a dedicated ammo slot?

The vest slot is no longer appearing for me - with one exception:
Powered armour for the Templar has the vest slot. I imagine this is something changing the normal armours without announcing it?

Does this require WOTC?

Localization for the strVestFirstLetter not working, because Musashi forgot add Template.GetDisplayLetterFn = GetVestDisplayLetter; for CreateVestSlotTemplate() in X2StrategyElement_VestSlot class.

@Rusty, I believe this mods functions are baked into LWOTC. So no need for this.

I love this, but now I have way too many utility slots in LWOTC. Any way to nerf a compatible version for that overhaul mod?

this mod worked fine with old highlander but the new one doesn't allow it to load its package if you delete the old highlander, not sure how to fix, i already re verified everything and re installed xcom again

Having the same issue, playthrough stalled because of this mod failing to load its package. Any advice or mod support incoming??

i keep getting failed to load package for this mod, which is a shame since my current play through is heavily reliant on this mod. anyone got any fixes, already tried resting the conf file for war of the chosen.
