I know this is super old, but I really love this mod, the only thing is that the city states are considered occupied when I buy them and I take huge warmonger and happiness penalties. If you could just point me to where that is in the file I just want to edit it so that its more like venice

When you say "Colony" in reference to where you train the UU, what does that mean exactly? A city that isn't connected to the capital?

Thanks for this wonderful mod! But when I meet all CS, there is no extra spy. I think it should be a bug. I use this mod with IGE

Extra Spies only appear, if you find the needed amount of Citystates AFTER you got your first Spy.

In one game, I found 50% of CS (nothing happened), later got my first spy (only one) in renaissance, then later found 100% of CS and was awarded with one extra spy.

But this mod is not working well with "rise of power",I can't see the picture of any new era.The pink and black makes me feel like playing G'mod.

For some reason Shenji Musketeers don't have ranged attack. Also, specialists don't seem to be benefiting from the bonus of a spy on the city (UA).

I just cannot understand why you colored the Korean Peninsula as Ming's territory.
It is really true that Korean states had lots of cultural influence from Chinese states,
but Korean territory was never claimed by Chinese states.
Just type in "Ming map" in google image search and you can get all the information you need in this debate.
I thought that all Civfans were able to make judgements rationally under netural evidences.
Maybe I was wrong :)

i'm trying to writing English. yes you can browse in wikipedia. i hope you browse the history. i'm trying to anti conflict about Nationality problem. i didn't attack to them. Nationalism is not wrong. I see it positively. but, the wrong is discriminate against to other asian people. We have passed through many histories. so mostly people know what is right or wrong. i hopw you watch momondo - The DNA Journey. and some korean people love Goguryeo more then other korean country. cuz Goguryeo was powerful and against chinese Country Tang. and that power was never again. they was last of korean history.

Joseon 1392-1897 . Ming 1368-1644... You can see without looking deeply. learn history? history tell us. Joseon was Lee Dynasty. Naturally, I know that Ming was stronger. express like to puppet state does not fit. they cooperate to Ming. and Joseon didn't downfall in 1644. i don't agree Joseon was Ming territory. Joseon moved on its own. Expressed like puppet state makes it other asians people to unpleasant.

@liukwan: Vietnam only stayed under Ming administration for about 20 years. This is a tiny fraction of their nearly 300-year dynasty, so it's a huge stretch to say that Vietnam is part of Ming China's territory when talking generally about the whole dynasty.

So a little history tip: in 194 BC, the very original kingdom of Korea was founded by Chinese military leaders. Since 109 BC when Korea was defeated by China, they have been under the management of their Chinese masters till they were fucked by Japanese Samurais in late 17th century. And it was because Great Ming finally gave up protecting Korean after the 3 great wars they fought. It was very moving that Korea's Joseon kingdom announced they were forever a part of Great Ming, and Qing started 2 wars and brutally murdered about 50000 Korean soldiers. However, Qing was deeply moved by their loyalty to Ming and argreed to accept Korea's surrender and take them as a part of Qing.

I dont know whether it would help to understand the Ming territory map.
