even on novice the racer speed is too much to catch up. not sure what's happening her.

AI seems to go insane even on experienced, can't catch up to the other racers at all. I suggest changing the speed multiplier if at all possible

You are correct. The wipeout64 track designers changed it to a hard blind turn after a fast straight.

For me, I found that airbraking a little earlier than usual became necessary to clearing it (same as wipeout64).

One nit: I don't think the turn where it turns into Korodera was blind in the original, but I crash here every lap.
