CRITICAL ERRORS like that are likely mod corruption, which is a steam thing, best clear your mod cache,. google should find a guide for this
MOD_CRITICAL_ERROR: Particle Performance Optimization Pack [50%], in file: Unknown
MOD PARTIALLY SKIPPED, LOADED ONLY 1/6 PHASES, Following Error occured:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Sandbox.Game
at Sandbox.Definitions.MyDefinitionManager.LoadDefinitions(List`1 contexts, List`1 definitionSets, Boolean failOnDebug, Boolean isPreload)
Not sure what the cause might be - happens even in a new world with just this mod loaded
the mod is not just client side, the server tells the client about particles, its all in the one system, mods loaded on a server can even change your graphics settings, yes its stupid, but its the way it is. if the mod was just client side, there may be some desync problems with particles.
one of my other mods did break the armour block groups (i think my compact jump drive mod), but im sure i fixed that one when it was reported.
Created a brand new vanilla world, spawned a drop-pod to Earthlike and activated the Heavy Sandstorm weather and checked my FPS. I was in a mountainous area, so more trees and foilage is on screen than a open/flat area would be.
Checked FPS again after activating this mod and spawning in the Heavy Sandstorm weather. I saw an improvement of roughly 20 FPS.
the term Microprocessor has different meanings depending on country or even corporation...
And this is just nitpicking, but you might as well just shorten "Video Graphics" to either "Graphics" or "GPU", because "Video Graphics" is rather redundant.
Thank you !
ps: i tried all of the mods to reduce the smoke, it didint work...
i may be able to put one up for the other tools :)
