Sorry for late response Jon. I haven't played Starbound for a long time, and just recently started again with my family. I have the mod installed with no errors, but have yet to test if its working properly in space. I started fresh so Myself and my kids learn all the new changes. One thing I did test was placing the station on a planet, which unless you have all the Phase Shift mods installed, can be very disruptive as placing the station, also causes the gravity to be lost, and only Phase Shift will help circumvent the issue.Lastly I need to brush up on my coding, as so much has changed and looking at my work, any improvements are past me, so will take time. Sadly, I may be dropping the FU branch of this mod.

Lot of things I need to update in this mod. Havent played Starbound in a long time. If you dont have the mod to enable and disable spacestation tile protection, the link as follows. If you have it alread, just go to the panlel, anable it and disable it and it should now work.

Ok I dloaded this mod. I'm really wanting to see what it has to offer. I used the /placedungeon playerstation command to spawn it on a random moon in a system i had never been to and so far... there is nothing. Is it something i have to locate on that moon?

Hi, loving the mod! I thought I'd let you know that I think I've figured out another condition for expansion ports to vanish. When building a station planetside, building into a generated structure, like a dungeon, micro dungeon or village will make that stationpart spawn without expansionports facing the direction of the colliding structure. Hope that helps with figuring out the issue!

Nope, it doesnt The origional one that spawned on water worlds by the origional author did. I made changes and put the info in so it can be placed on any planet. The way it was coded, it caused a tun of code to not get loaded, and many couldnt finish the beginning quests due to it.

Can you confirm or deny that this mod will in the course of normal gameplay replace (newly visited) Savannah-type worlds (landed with a mech around temperate stars) with Empty Playermade stations? This is one of two mods I have that touch stations, and from the desc it sounds like this may be the culprit.

Can you send me a screenshot? I have been working on other projects for a while now, so if something came up that needs fixing, a screenshot would help.
Editing this. If your just logging in and finding this issue, sound like your using the tile protection mod. If so, you need to go to the panel, and even if it shows it's disabled, enable it, then disable it, and you should have no issue with the dome. I had similar issues with that mod in big rooms.

Sorry, just saw this now then realized that not my mod doing that lol. Only time it errors is rare ocasion FU does an update that conflicts with it. And thats rare. Any other has been the windows build 1703 ghost file bug which causes files to show up in their respective programs, but in reality you check the folder and nothing is there. I have not forgotten the update either. I'm dealing with a larger issue that has effected me being able to complete the update. Having rewritten the lost code so far for the new rooms, a key program I use I had my license of ownerhip revoked. This was because the vendor was found to be stealing and got caught and now I'm going to redwood city today to deal with the copany. Cant say moreon this but will update everyone later.

I can definitely make an addition where it has a bottom part. I don't want to edit the one that already exists because it would kill the anchors preventing S,E, and W placement of additional rooms. I'm hoping to have an update to this by this weekend. A Lot of issues have come up I'm making a separate post about, with some fixes that have nothing to do with my mod actually but has caused a lot of issues with it.

Just got off the phone with my internet provider. This isn't the only place I posted my mods. I posted them on several sites. Ever get one of those emails from your provider that you downloaded copyrighted material and that you are to delete it and take precautions to prevent it happening again? I did for the first time, and it was my own mod they called me about!!!! Some laim brained ambulance chaser saw my mod in the turrent comunity and because it says in the description that it is for use in the Starbound game, they assumed it was the game itself and not only harassed my provider, harassed me as well. Gave several links to my provider, they saw it was mine, apologised for the email and are notifying whoever the heck it was that contacted them to be more careful before filing an incorrect report. They told me to get a VPN to avoid this from happening again.

Was testing a few new rooms I plan updating to this mod hopefully by next weekend when one of them due to a typo, was way off kilter and basically ereased the room I was testing it from. and at the same time put an expansion port almost exactly where I started out from. I'm doing a few more tests, and if I'm right, I might actually be able to put in more options into the selection menu to actually erease space station mistakes.

I recommend those mods not because I don't want to make those changes, it is just because parts of the station that are part of the program itself is what is making them non breakable. If you unpacked the script you would see that. The switch overides this, allowing you to break everything except the control and expansion ports.

@Zake the Reaper. If you don't have them already, check the discussions link where I listed several mods that work great with this one. One of them is another spacestations rooms addition, plus another mod that allows tile protection to be turned on and off. With that mod, even if its off, you will need to check it on, then off when teleporting on any station that has that option because it resets moment you leave that world. You mean like the space station you visit when you get your first transponder? If so, I was thinking on the same lines. It's a plan I will do, but at the moment I am learning some of the annoyances of changing the rooms. I successfully managed to change the doors in the large dome to expansion ports so you can expand in both east and west, and even got the panels to bring up the entire menu. Only issue is, in doing this I caused a set of LUA errors that I am trying to figure out. The original writer who made that dome most likely ran into the same issue which is why they threw normal doors in, making it impossible to expand in either direction other than placing blocks manually. I will figure it out. Usually do.

Most likely, there is a code conflict. My daughter is redrawing the entire dome using Tile-D from scratch, using a set parameter file so the junctions line up. I'll do the code, and see if the error happens again. If not, most likely will have a better dome tomorrow and I'll see about that station.
Another issue I am addressing, is modifying the entire set to keep it protected. I discovered the sandstorm destroys the ports, even in protected mode, but if the port is covered by a layer of just about any tile, they don't vanish. Fix for this, is to bump the panels back a line, then fill those spaces with blocks. Yeah, it will be annoying having to take out blocks for every section you place in the future on a planet, but better that than lose the ports in a storm and be unable to build any further.

Is it possible to make the space station area bigger? (like, when using it actually in space, not on a planet). As in, so that an even larger space station can be made.

The two latest screenshots I have added show the Hylotl city connected to my spacestation. This took several attempts to line up which meant a few times I had to replace that world file. Before attempting this, go to the planet your in and look in the universe folder. Copy the latest file .world. Now if you mess up, just copy it back. I did this by ligning up the character and curser and then hit enter with the /placedungeon hylotloceancity

I'm going to look at some race mods. My daughter just saw the old movie Gremlins, and wants a Magwai race. Would be interesting to see her draw them then animate it so if it gets wet on a planet, it spawns more to fight with it.
