If someone wants to use this mod but doesn't want to use the Steam Workshop, they can find it on "The Place That Shall Not Be Named" .
Thank you for your responsible messages.
Hopefully everything is working correctly again. If you just happened to start Skyrim on Feb. 7 around 7:30pm CST and downloaded the erroneous file, restart Skyrim and hopefully you will download the corrected version and all will be right in the world again.
I'm just trying to figure out which mod turned my localized paper notes into English (including recipes).
This version, through use of a compatibility patch created by JustinOther, can be used in conjunction with JustinOther's Lightweight Potions and Poisons for superior functionality.
For better realism, items & equipment are assign a (weight + bulkiness #) There were many oversights in Skyrim (like being able to carry 5000 arrows that weight 0?) etc. Carrying around glass bottles in reality be a major issue = but I can't see real potions exceeding a skooma size mini bottle ~ as some single potion bottles are as big as a six-pack. ~ but for the purposes of gameplay nobody wants to waste several (real people) hours running back & forth to a dungeon to pick up a handful of items because of too realistic weight restrictions. = no fun.
So I agree that breaking down the weight of the potions to (mini liquor bottle size) works here.

You could do it with TES5Edit in 30 seconds flat. If you want, I could perform the operation, then make a CP for Lightweight Potions and Poisons (Mine) and Sorted Potions (yours). Although said CP would only work for English installations, it would allow the option to separate the nomenclature/mass edits.
Mancika's mod requires Dawnguard. I am rebuilding it so that it does not, and can be played with Vanilla Skyrim.

Alas, there are two hangups. The first is that I cannot get in contact with the mod's author to request permission to re-release the mod, since I don't know his Steam ID and I can't use the Nexus. Therefore I need someone else to contact Mancika on the nexus on my behalf, and politely ask him to come here and add me as a friend so we can talk.
The second hangup: The helmet is a Dawnguard Full Helmet with some bits added on, and so even though it's remodeled I don't know if it's okay to release it in a non-Dawnguard mod.
And again, there's nothing stopping you from making multiple repeat trips back to a dungeon to pick up loot you had to leave behind, so I must restate that *all a carrying capacity does is make you waste time*. I urge all of you to just ignore carry capacity as a gameplay mechanic and enjoy the game.
Solving for x, 1 unit of skyrim weight / 20 lbs = x units of skyrim weight / 1 lb, x = .05
Therefore at .1 weight, you're carrying around 2 pound potions which I think compensates for the glass bottle.
The problem is that typical suits of armor meant for battlefield combat weighed around 45 pounds, and that's the entire suit. If 1 unit is 20 pounds, a suit of steel plate armor totaling 59 skyrim weight units would weigh 59x20 = 1180 pounds. And somehow that 1180 pound suit of armor is made of only ~350 pounds of materials. So, as I was saying in the mod description, there's really no way to rationalize carrying capacity and weights logically without going around and modding ALL of the numbers.
I do agree with both sets of logic regarding the weight compared to an ingot and the comparative weight of ingredients though. Perhaps 0.2 or 0.3 would have been a bit more accurate, but thats just my personal opinion.
Still, awesome mod Trogdor, this should save some headaches, thanks :)
Thanks =)
LOGIC:
// for RP Reasons Also, each ingredients is either .1 or .2 per unit, (up to three of them, the min is 2 units), +glass (let us called, .1 wieght) +water Therefore, .5 wieght is within reason for a weight of a potion

All a maximum carry weight does is waste your time.
If you are the kind of person who thinks about ' how much could my female khajiit assassin really carry around?', then you're welcome to impose your own arbitrary weight constraint, either via the console or simple self control.
Going back and re-editing every record again just to increase the weight back to .5 would take a few hours that I'm not willing to invest just for that. Sorry.
Sry for my English :3
Great work though!
Some of you may be familiar with a mod called 'Templar Set' over at the Skyrim Nexus.

In its current state, the mod requires Dawnguard to run, despite the intent of its author. Apparently, it causes CTD without it. I don't have Dawnguard, so I thought I might have a go at rebuilding the mod's ESP file from scratch. So far, so good: I have gotten most of the armor and all of the weapons to appear ingame without CTD. But without being able to load the original ESP file in the CK, I am basically making it up as I go.
However, due to my falling out with the Nexus, I can't contact the author myself. So I'd appreciate it if someone could go over there and send him a private message. Ask mancika, politely, to please contact me here on Steam so we can talk.
But as I stated in the description, I reduced the weight of every potion and poison to .1. I read the description of LWPAP, and apart from LWPAP being available in multiple languages, it doesn't have any additional features. So if English is all you need, you can replace that mod with this one.
