UTOPIA UPDATE 3 - Government Edicts & Hive Planet Uniques

New Edicts are now avaliable for goverment authority and perk pairings. The new image above explains it all mostly. You have to have the right perk unlocked and the right government active to be able to research the edict. If you change governments mid game you may lose access to the edict unless that government has a path to get the same edict (either though the same perk or a different one). If your new Gov is able to get the perk it remains avaliable (and wont have to be researched again).

Hive buildings unfortunately are a bit of a bandaid at the moment as I was a bit more excited about the gov edict changes so I did those first. Likewise its extra civic tech is to help it not be completely outclassed by changes to normal empires.

Next patch will be the Techs which will take a while juggling balance and figuring out how to best lockout techs from ethos changes without making triple ethos empires OP. Everything has flavor text so if theres any typos let me know and ill sort them out.

Like before all changes have been reflected in the images above.

UTOPIA UPDATE 2 - Unique Planet Uniques

New unique structures have been added as upgrades to existing buildings, this was mainly to avoid building spam when placing structures.

With changing ethos being possible in game all new additions have techs which are avaliable only to your current ethos (as before). Once researched the new buildings are available whenever you have the correct ethos.

If you change your ethos mid game the built structures will remain but the option to build new ones will disappear until you either revert to the old ethos or research the tech for your new ethos which will now appear.

Like before all changes have been reflected in the images above.

UTOPIA UPDATE

I'm still working on re-adding structures and balancing everything at the moment but since its going to take a while I put together a small update for the meantime. Unfortunately this means just about every added tech and building are still out at the moment. This patch adds perk specific techs that apply to all ethos, I may add more in the future but the current plan is to get unique techs for each ethos back in the mod.


All changes have been reflected in the images above

One thing to note, when building megastructures the new build costs but not times appear when you start the project. The build time bonuses are working correctly when the project starts however.
