Preliminary Remark for the use of save games:
Check your ship designer after you have researched the new technologies.

If the Artemis FCR can’t be equipped in the ship design screen do the following:
1. Disable “Auto Build”
2. Hit “Auto Complete Ship”
- The new slot should now be filled.
3. Save you design.

The old A.T.T. transport sub-class is on longer existing and the old designs will not show in the ship-designer any longer
due to the limitations of the ship-designer to detect new ship-classes when a save-game is used.

To fix this do the following:
1. Open the ship-designer.
2. Select “New Design” and the A.T.T. ship-class from the drop-down menu.
3. Enable “Auto-Design”.
4. Hit “Auto Complete Ship”
5. Design your layout.
6. Save your new A.T.T. design.

Changes:
- Changed the prerequisites for the Artemis FCRs. They now need Artemis FCR technologies to be researched.

- Added PD-slots.
- A.T.T. components add to maintenance costs now.
- A.T.T.s in orbit or flight cost resources now!

- Removed resource limiter for influence and minor artifacts.

- Adjusted speed multipliers for Juggernaut Afterburners.

- Added new component slot to the Frigate.

- Added new Corvette, Frigate, Destroyer and Cruiser Sections to make them more valuable in mid- to late game.

- Added new Frigate exclusive component “Artemis Fire Control Radar”.
- Added new reactor types for Corvettes, Frigates and Destroyers.

Technologies:
- Added 2 new Corvette and Frigate specific technologies that unlock the new sections.

- Added Mjoelnir Titanic Beam for Ironclads.

Fixes:
- A bunch of small glitches.

Balancing:
- The AI can use Conquistadors and Ironclads including their sections and weapons.
- Ironclad Flaming Sword sections are exempt.

- Adjusted scripted variables.

VSE update to Vers. 1.4.0.

The update is massive. It introduces many changes and adds new ship-classes, models, technologies.

Please check the changelog in the mod directory for details or check the gallery for the visuals.
Vers. 1.4.0 shifts the focus of VSE to the Stellaris base-game users. Please check your ship-designs after installing and loading a save.

IMPORTANT for ALL NSC USERS:

Dropped all NSC ship-classes specific sections.

Restricted all NSC specific ship-classes from using VSE weapons and components.

General NSC compatibility is NOT affected by the update.

ALL new ship-classes, sections and features are available to All VSE users INCLUDING those who use NSC.
