This is a small balance and bug fix patch. Updates and fixes to the patches coming shortly.

FEATURES:

  • Galactic Secrets II AP research speed bonus from 10% -> 5%
  • Adaptable Naval Capability AP ship upkeep reduction bonus from -5% -> -10%
  • Explorers of the Frontier AP happiness bonus to researchers from 100% -> 50%
  • Explorers of the Frontier AP research bonus from minor artifacts storage now caps at 250 minor artifacts.
  • Network Nodes AP spy network infiltration requirement to get bonus from 60 -> 40 and grants double the effect.
  • Network Nodes AP now has a fixed reduction to empire size from population instead of a scaling one.
  • Infinite Architecture AP now also reduces building upkeep
  • Infinite Architecture AP bonuses from planetary designations increased by 20% - 50%
  • Ascension of Flesh AP reduced bonus to defence armies from 25% -> 20%
  • Ascension of Flesh AP increased pop assembly bonus by 40%
  • Ascension of Flesh AP now also reduces empire size from pops by 10%
  • Ascension of Will AP no longer provides reduction in empire size from pops, but grants +20% diplomatic weight.
  • Ascension of Will AP reduced technology bonus from livestock by 25%, increased bonus from purged pops for devouring swarms.
  • Pacifist Diplomacy AP now increases diplomatic weight by +25% and slightly increases the power of starbases.
  • Pacifist Diplomacy AP changed Aura of Peace to Cost of War, enemies that wage war on you now have 20% reduced naval capacity, +20% ship upkeep and -15% monthly alloy income for the duration of the war.
  • Enlightenment AP moved stability bonus to base bonus, and moved reduction in pop upkeep from base to the only when at peace part of the bonus, but increased its effect from -25% to -30%.
  • For the Abyssal Secrets crisis, there is now a X option on the crisis strength slider that replaces the 10x option. This provides huge sweeping buffs to crisis fleets, from tracking/accuracy to hull/evasion. Designed to be played with very powerful mod-packs, or if you want to die.
  • Reduced spawn incidence of Muonic Hydrogen by ~33%.
  • Increased spawn incidence of Hypernuclear matter by ~10%.

BUGS:
  • Implemented further changes to the Ancestral Genetics AP to hopefully reduce the incidence of spammed death notifications.

BUGS:
  • Authoritarian Vision edicts now have unity upkeep as opposed to one-off influence cost.
  • Network Nodes AP now decreases empire sprawl effect from pops instead of increasing admin cap.
  • Fixed some minor localisation issues and slightly adjusted some weights relating to the Free Market AP.

FEATURES:

  • Retired the Mars Project Ascension Perk, it is too clunky, has too many persistent issues and could do with improving. I will eventually re-vamp this ascension perk.

BUGS:
  • Fixed a mod compatibility bug that is caused when custom Fallen Empires are forcibly awoken during the crisis.
  • Fixed a continuity error that occurs when Abyssal Host ships are destroyed too fast.
  • Fixed a bug that prevents the 'strange building plans' event from alerting the player of it's occurrence.

Progress on the new crisis is continuing, but this is a long process, expect it to take a few months of development before a public release.

BUGS:
  • There are now a -40% planetary resource production penalty for going into deficits with Solar Storm resources (those being Quantanium, Hypernuclear Matter and Muonic Hydrogen).

Features:

  • This mod is now fully compatible with Stellaris 3.3.2
  • Added the Ascension of Will ascension perk for Hive Minds. This ascension perk grants research bonuses for keeping livestock or in the case of devouring swarms, purging them (devouring swarms also get a pop-assembly boost). Also grants a bombardment stance that converts pops killed through bombardment into infested armies which attack the planet's surface. Planets devastated to a significant degree by this bombardment stance are converted into hive worlds.
  • Added the Ascension of the Flesh ascension perk for Hive Minds. This grants a pop assembly bonus based on the ratio between you net food income and the number of pops spread across your worlds. Your hive worlds also grow in size over time as your population increases.
  • Retired the Hive Ascension ascension perk. Existing saves with this AP are unaffected, but new saves will not be able to select this ascension perk.
  • Special thanks goes to [E] Z_THETA_Z for suggestions for these APs.

Bugs:
  • Awakened empires can now be the nemesis of the crisis, this fixes script errors that occurred when all fallen empires had awoken before the crisis started.
  • The finale event no longer triggers multiple times.
  • Added some missing modifier icons.
  • The Infrastructure Management Complex now increases the energy upkeep of pops as opposed to admin cap. This fixed a previous bug.
  • Thanks to Vectard Future Seekers now grants the research enhancing benefit from Minor Artifacts directly to the cosmologist job. This averted a bug in which this bonus was not being granted.
  • Added a manual block that prevents the experience transferring mechanic from Ancestral Genetics to trigger multiple times.

  • Fixed an error in job weightings for the Spice Trader job that might be causing lag and pops to be constantly changing jobs as reported by xkuripuri.
