The Great Corporation Update is online!

Added a total of 9 Subject Types exclusive for empires with the Corporate Authority. Instead of Ethics, what decides which type of subject your corporation has access to are your civics - so, for example, empires with Gospel of the Masses can create Worshippers, while Naval Contractors gives you access to Arms Dealers. Corporate subjects are by default more independent, all of them being able to expand and wage war, and can't be integrated.


If you want to have as many options as possible, try those two civics. Now they give you access to most of the new Subject Types - all ethics based ones for Feudal Society, all corporate subjects for Franchising.


Lots of bugs corrected and under the hood changes. I also added new bugs for me to correct later!

Initial Upload

Only available for empires withh either the Barbaric Despoilers or Slaver Guilds civics. This type of subject pays a special type of tribute, the Blood Tax: every 15-20 years, 10% of its population is sent to the Overlord as tribute. The "tribute" will be distributed among the colonies of the Overlord, being sent first to planets with free housing. Alternatively, the Overlord can choose to send them all to their Thrall-Worlds.

This type of subject has a permament -1000 opinion malus towards the Overlord. You can have only one Blood Tributary at a time.
