1.4.6

Balance

Form a Blockade now grants 4 Block plus 1 (2) Block per spawned Slime.

Duplicated Form now costs 15 HP, which is reduced to 10 Upgraded. Duplicated Form+ no longer copies 2 cards.

Protect the Boss now costs 1 energy, reduced to 0 when Upgraded. Protect the Boss+ no longer prevents two attacks.

Bugfixes

Added a fix for Slimebound + The Jungle mod to shift the foreground tree to the left to prevent obscuring the Slimebound's block and buff bars.

Fixed previous patch note not actually being in the build - "At the end of combat, only one slime's absorb audio effect will now trigger, to prevent the sounds from stacking up and becoming obnoxiously loud."

1.4.5

Aesthetics

At the end of combat, only one slime's absorb audio effect will now trigger, to prevent the sounds from stacking up and becoming obnoxiously loud.

Googly Eyes now works on the slime character, but will be incorrectly placed if you use Duplicated Form. Thanks to twanvl for adding support for x-root flipped models.

Bugfixes

Fixed an issue with Black Heart of Goo still having the old '3 HP per slime' effect, which doubled up with the slime's innate healing.

Typo fix in Protect the Boss

Updates for many localizations

1.4.3

Aesthetics

Cards that trigger bonus effects when targeting Gooped enemies (such as Leeching Touch, It Looks Tasty, etc) will now glow purple in your hand whenever an enemy is currently Gooped, helping to quickly spot a Goop exploit synergy if one is available.

Balance

Slimebound's Max HP reduced to 70. I overestimated how much max HP adjustment was needed with the previous balance update.

Leech Energy now costs 1 energy, and when hitting a Gooped enemy, restores 1 energy and draws 1 card. This puts it into a more comparable and recognizable position with Heel Hook or Dropkick, and adds a bit more Goop-exploiting focus into the kit rather than it being somewhat split between Goop exploits and Poison exploits. Only Toxin Strike exists as a Poison exploit and is solely focused on it.

Level Up now grants 1 Potency. This is a pretty big hit to the power, but as it stood in most scenarios, this was an extra 8 damage per turn guaranteed, on average doubling the base per-turn damage output of a set of 4 basic slimes - without counting bonus Slime attacks from Lead by Example, Pile On, Teamwork, or Press the Attack, or any additional slimes beyond the starting 4. It was just too much output for a single card on its own and swung deck power too heavily if one was acquired early.

Quick Study now costs 5 HP, reduced to 2 HP when upgraded. It no longer provides 2 Spire Boss cards when upgraded. This was proving to be a pretty big factor in the overall deck quality of a draft due to its upgrade essentially being two copies of the card drawn and played simultaneously - a huge boost in value for an already high-value card.

Toxin Strike now deals 5 (7*) damage, but Exhausts. The wording has been updated to not refer to 'end of turn effect', instead explaining exactly the result (lose HP equal to poison, then reduce poison by 1). The changes to this and Leech Energy now make all of the Slimebound's 0-cost cards Exhaust, which I felt was best for mechanical consistency across the kit.

Bugfixes

Fixed an issue where the 'Icky' curse could be upgraded at a rest site, crashing the game.

Fixed an issue where the Hunted event could appear if you already had acquired the Tiny Bowler Hat. This was always intended to not appear if you'd already faced the Slime Boss or acquired the Hat.

1.4.2

Slimebound is now mostly compatible with Googly Eyes. The character can't have googly eyes yet, something about the slime model doesn't seem to like the eyes.

1.4.0

The Unlock system appears to now be fully operational. This is retroactive, so if you have not fully leveled up the Slimebound, some cards and relics will now be locked.

The Mod config menu has three new options for enabling Slimebound content on other characters. These options are all turned off by default.

The Unlock All button on the config menu no longer requires a restart to function. The unlock bar XP will still tick up, and at any time if you change you mind, you can go back to the normal unlock system. The only permanent effect of this is that all cards in the compendium will no longer be ??? when this button is first enabled.

The Art of Slime War event can now only appear in The City. The Tackles provided by the event increased to 10 damage each, 13 upgraded (up from 9 & 11).

Bugfixes

Fixed Recycling not actually ticking down at the start of each turn.

Potential fix for seeing some Slimebound events more than once. Please report if you still see this.

1.3.7

1.3.6

When encountering the Hunted event, the Slime Boss will now have more HP depending on which Act you are encountering the event on.

Bugfixes

Updated localization for Korean & Chinese

1.3.5

Aesthetics

At the end of combat, spawned Slimes will now visually be Absorbed instead of hanging out on the battlefield.

Balance

Recycling is no longer infinite - it lasts for 5 turns. The card has proven to be extremely strong and 5 turns should keep it that way for most cases, but prevent it from putting too much cheese on longer fights, and from making Manipulate Time result in a potential infinite loop.

Bugfixes

Fixed a crash related to using Hubris's Duct Tape on some Slimebound cards.

Fixed Cultist, Scrap, and Greed slime sometimes not cleaning up their visuals at the end of combat.

Fixed Intangible effects messing up the max HP cap system. The max HP cap now bypasses Intangible when setting your current health to your new max.
