- Added 1 new fast zombie model
- Added completely new Zombie Panic NPCs:
- 7 new models! (1 carrier, 3 male and 3 female)
- 3 unique sound sets! (carrier, male, female)
- Headshot gibs!
- Carriers have a health boost and can sprint very fast when near the enemy!
- Gesture based melee attacking, which allows them to move and attack
- Animation event based attacks and footstep sounds
- Ability to jump with animations
- Overhauled animations, ripped straight from the original game!
- Much better ragdolls
- Added hitgroup based flinching to some of the zombies
- Added a ton of new sounds for most NPCs!
- Added new spawn icons
- Added foot scuff noise to slow zombies that have animations for it
- Added fire idle animation for zombine, and fast zombies
- Added in air and climb down animations for fast zombies
- All NPCs now use animations events! (attacks, movement sounds, etc.)
- Zombie Hulk will now run when its at half health!
- Burnzie's corpse will now only remain on fire if it was on fire prior to death
- Burnzie's fire attack is now randomized between 3 to 5 seconds
- Crabless Zombine's sprint and grenade pull distances are now on par with HL2
- Renamed most of the NPCs to have proper names
- Zombie Hulk now shakes the ground around it
- Rebalanced the spawners to spawn less stronger enemies and more common zombies
- Greatly reduced the number of NPCs and entities to simplify the pack!
- All models are now in a unique directory to avoid confliction with other mods
- Revamped the alert menu that appears when VJ Base is missing
- Removed ton of files to reduce file size and Lua file count
- Fixed spawners being created offset from the player's aiming position
- Fixed Zombie Stalker's melee attack having far range
- Fixed fire walk & idle animations not always working correctly
- Fixed Draggy's and Fast Zombie's melee attack sounds cutting off
- Fixed many broken animations by redoing some of the models

  • Added 5 hitgroup-specific flinching animations to the Zombine!
  • Zombie Hulk can now attack much larger props!
  • Completely redid Burnzie's AI, it works much better!
  • Revamped Zombine's grenade system
  • If Zombie Boss is removed without death, it will also remove the Mini Zombie Bosses it spawned
  • All animations now play properly when the Zombie Boss is spawning mini bosses
  • Zombie Boss spawning scream can now be heard farther away
  • Decreased the health of Slow Zombies from 150 to 100
  • Decreased the health of Fast Zombies from 150 to 100
  • Decreased the health of Zombie Panics from 200 to 120
  • Decreased the health of Burnzie's health from 300 to 200
  • Decreased the health of Draggy's health from 350 to 200
  • Increased the damage of some of the attacks done by Zombie Boss
  • Code has been optimized and cleaned up
  • Updated to the latest Steam Workshop system
  • Reduced the number of Lua files (Removed 10 Lua files!)
  • Removed all the health & damage convars as they were useless

  • Zombie SNPCs
    • Added a grenade attack for the Zombine!
      • Pulls out a grenade if it's close to the enemy and its health is less than or equal to 40
      • NPC Controller supported! Press SPACE to pull out the grenade!
      • The grenade will be dropped if the Zombine was holding it while it gets killed!
    • Added an alert animation for the Crabless Poison Zombie
    • Zombine now does only one melee attack, but it's very quick and deadly
    • Fast Zombies will now attack faster
    • Fast Zombies will no longer slow down the player
    • Updated all the attacks for all the SNPCs, most of them now attack faster and the transitions are smoother

  • New
    • Added a new tool: No Target
    • Added new SNPC Setting: Players Can Pick Up Dropped Weapons (vj_npc_plypickupdropwep)
    • New AI Changes:
      • Will no longer detect players with No Target on, similar to how HL2 NPCs work
      • When applying a class to a player or another NPC, they will now properly see them as an ally
      • Will now properly reset their enemy when the relationship changes with the enemy
      • Tanks will now properly play their moving track sound when moving on a non-world object
      • Fixed tanks still being able to move while floating!
  • General Changes & Improvements
    • Reduced the amount of push tank SNPCs deliver when running over an enemy
    • Revamped the difficulty system to be more optimized and easier for developers to implement into their addons!
    • NPC Controller will now properly detect the selected entity is an NPC
    • NPC Controller will no longer let you control NPC that have 0 or below health
    • Removed a lot unused Lua files to reduce the amount of files in the base
    • Updated and organized a lot of old files (Especially entity files)
  • General Fixes
    • Fixed tank SNPCs not properly running over players!
    • Fixed being able to take control of door entities using the NPC Controller
    • Fixed using the NPC Controller creating errors when trying to control vehicles

  • Black Mesa SNPCs
    • Houndeye is now immune to sonic damage
    • Houndeye now deals sonic damage rather than shock

  • E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy SNPCs
    • Manduco can now be set on fire, but it won't take any damage

  • Zombie SNPCs
    • While controlling the Burnzie, you can now ignite or extinguish the fire!
    • Burnzie will now actually be on fire, rather than the old bad looking fire particle

    Developer function/variable Changes
    NOTE: Some new or changed functions/variables may not be listed here!
    • New global NPC functions: self:VJ_HasNoTarget(argent), self:VJ_GetDifficultyValue(int)
    • SNPC Bases:
      • New: self:CustomOnChangeMovementType(SetType), self.Immune_Fire, self.Immune_Sonic, self.Immune_Melee
      • Removed: self.Immune_Freeze (Had no effect)
