Wall Light: v1.4.8347.35873

There was a really weird issue when using Replace Stuff that I still don't understand... if you placed a wall light blueprint adjacent to a door, and then opened the door before the light was constructed, the blueprint would vanish. Just POOF. No error. No warning. Nothing. But even though I don't know why this is happening I found a way to stop it from happening. Business as usual, I don't understand the "whys" 90% of the time anyways because I used to microdose LSD hourly. That was a long time ago I don't do that anymore... because I developed an LSD tolerance. I now have an IV drip of LSD so technically I macrodose instead of microdose and constantly instead of hourly.

Made a tiny error in that last update that would cause the game to blatantly refuse to let you place any wall lights in certain circumstances because it was convinced you were trying to place a wall light on top of a wall sun light, or the other way around. Fixed now.

It was pointed out that wall lights could be placed on pod launchers... normally I wouldn't care but that would actually mess up my wall attachment system and would result in floating disconnected lights if the pod launcher was removed, so I added an additional check when placing a light to make sure it is actually going over a wall, instead of just an impassable tile like before.

This is a story all about how, my lights got flipped-turned upside down...

So! Here's a fun fact. Did you know that the intended behavior is to be able to place light blueprints on a wall in all directions that make sense? You know, on both sides of the wall at the same time? Well some of you know that and some of you don't... because it wasn't working like that for some of you... myself included. When I actually play that is.

When I test things, I only load up my own mods. I restart a lot during testing so the less mods the better. Turns out that if you use Replace Stuff, which a lot of you do, then when you place a light blueprint down on a wall that already has one, Replace Stuff will eat the existing blueprint and replace it with the new one. I have now made a Replace Stuff compatibility mode that stops it from eating your light blueprints on the other side of a wall. It took me forever to figure this out because when I play for real, my bases tend to be pretty small and I don't often put lights on both sides of the wall, and during testing I don't have Replace Stuff active so the blueprints were going on both sides of the wall just fine.

It's all working good now. Now I just have to wait a few hours to see if anyone starts screaming that I broke something.

Added a new option: "Don't Recolor Graphic", will ensure that the color of the graphic for the wall light is always white when turned on, instead of whatever color you have chosen for the light color, so like how the vanilla lights work, except they will still turn gray when off because I think that looks way better.

Previously when you copied a light, the color of the old light would be copied onto the new light... in theory. In reality, It would fail unless under very specific circumstances and use the default color instead, purely because I did all my testing in god mode where the lights are built instantly and are not constructed later whenever your pawns feel like it. So when playing for real I noticed light colors were not copying properly all the time. I tracked down the reason and came up with a solution. Copied lights will now take on the color of the light they were copied from in nearly all circumstances, except for one that I will not mention and see how long it takes for somebody to stumble upon it.

This was a more involved fix than I anticipated and now I'm quite tired. I'm going to take a brief 12 hour nap and cross my fingers that nothing explodes and/or bursts into flames requiring urgent attention until I wake up.

Some general cleanup, I was kinda hasty with my last few bug fixes because I wanted to make sure every thing is working right in everyone's games ASAP. Now that the dust has settled I took the time to do it a little more efficiently.

I feel like I'm "wiping a marker" with all these "recoloring multiple lights at the same time" bugs.

Minor tweaks and cleanup, should not have introduced any bugs (but I say that to myself everytime).

Fixed another recoloring bug.

"I feel like one day soon I'll be out of bugs to fix. Nah who am I kidding I always make 2 when I fix 1."

SEE? Can't wait to fix the bugs I created from fixing this one.
