Additions
  • NPCs will now reload their weapons after leaving combat.
    • Added a convar to toggle the above feature: saii_idlereload_enabled
Fixes
  • Fixed NPCs patrolling awkwardly.
  • Greatly improved mod compatibility, including a fix for TFA's Smod Kick Redux and NPC Tools 2.
  • Only Citizens, Metropolice, and Combine Soldiers will flee when unarmed.

Additions
  • Unarmed NPCs now flee when in danger.
  • NPCs now react to direct hits from any source, including explosive damage and projectiles.
Fixes
  • Because of the above change, Half-Life 2 weapons can now trigger a response from NPCs, but only if they hit directly.

  • Added the ability to change the weapon proficiency of all NPCs through the saii_proficiency convar.
  • NPCs will now vocalize when they detect someone shooting at them.
Fixes
  • Fixed NPCs shuffling around before patrolling.
  • Fixed citizens and rebels panicking if a friendly player's bullet lands near them.
