Wow. Impressive!

I'm not sure exactly how it works, but it seems like respawning during Time Attack updates the game's memory of the current eversion level even for the normal game.

What I did was basically:
1. Open World 8 in Time Attack mode .
2. Die and respawn while still in 8-8. (If you go far enough before dying, you'll end up spawning at World 1's flag during the next step. Otherwise, you'll end up in the middle of the level.)
3. Exit to the main menu and load up World 1 in the normal game . You should spawn into World 1 while still in eversion level 8.
