Kuvaus
ATTENTION! I am no longer able to maintain or update my mods going into Patch 2.0. My PC has crashed and I don't know when I will be able to replace the broken parts. Furthermore, my personal life is in the middle of an important crossroads and I'm going to be focusing on reality. This means NONE of my mods will be updated further. They will remain as they are for Patch 1.9.

DISCLAIMER: If anyone wishes to maintain/update/continue this mod, they have my permission to do so with the understanding that credit must be given in the description of your updated mod to the original author. Always give credit where credit is due.

Original description follows:

Terminology:

ISB = Improved Ship Battles, and refers to ISB Doomsday. ISB Balance is a separate patch.
RS = Realistic Ships, and refers to that mod.

This mod is a compatibility patch for Realistic Ships and Improved Space Battles Doomsday, allowing you to use both mods together properly.

If you do not have ALL the mods listed on the right side of this page do NOT subscribe to this patch.

For those of you who use ISB Balance, even if you also use ISB Doomsday with it, you need the other patch, which you can find here.

This patch edits the following to ensure compatibility between the Improved Space Battles Doomsday mod collection and Realistic Ships:

1. Combined country_types files.

This file combination allows the AI to use both Improved Space Battle's ship classes and Realistic Ship's ship classes at the same time. Without this merger, one mod would overwrite the other, and the AI would only use one mod's ship classes. This way, the AI can use both: using RS ship classes but also unlocking the ISB end-game ship classes later on.

And this is literally all that is needed.

Update 2.0 - 7/12/2017

Updated this particular patch to support ISB Doomsday. ISB Balance required some extra support thus was separated into a new patch.

Possible update or it will be added to base doomsday mod?

@EVERYONE - CRITICAL MOD UPDATE!

I have split my patches to support ISB Balance and ISB Doomsday separately. This particular patch now only services ISB Doomdsay. While it can technically support ISB Balance, it doesn't support it fully or well , thus the split. There is a link to the new ISB Balance patch in the description above.

Brilliant, thank you!

@kniuan - Great. That means I have to split all these patches into ISB Balance and ISB Doomsday. I'm working on some other stuff now, but I'll get to this when I can.

@Crusader Vanguard

The bonus is for ISBS balance, and it applied right off the bat to each ship design. From what I can tell, it is not a starting tech either, so I assume it is tweaked in file.
Crusader Vanguard  [tekijä] 8.7.2017 klo 5.54
@kniuan - Is this bonus applied in both ISB Balance and ISB Doomsday or just Balance? Is this bonus applied immediately to each ship class or gained through techs or modifiers?

If both mods do this, then I guess I have to recheck all my patches with ISB in them. If just Balance does this... well, more issues with Balance versus Doomsday compatibility.

This is important, because I'm worried I'm going to have to literally split my patches into Doomsday compatible and Balance compatible, which I'm not really looking foward too. LOL.
