Stargate - Goa'uld Ships 2.0.0

Description

This mod adds the Goa'uld ships from the Stargate universe. Here are the ships currently included:

- Osiris' ship (science & construction)
- Al'kesh (corvette & transport ship)
- Horus (destroyer)
- Ha'tak (cruiser)
- Ha'tel (battleship)
- Atum (colony ship)
- Needle Threader (fighter & bomber)
- Goa'uld Station (all stations)
- Apophis' ship (titan)
- Anubis' ship (colossus)

If you have Improved Space Battles (Balance) installed:

- Apophis' ship (titan)
- Anubis' ship (leviathan)

Support for New Ship Classes & More has been dropped. I have no plans to update the mods to support NSC2 at this time.

@Cthulu The 3rd sorry for the late reply but you need to edit the files in the \gfx\models\ships folder. Let's say you have an NSC Battlecruiser bow that has three medium turrets on it and you want it to be the one with one large turret, you change the following.

entity = {
name = "mammalian_01_Battlecruiser_bow_L1_entity"
pdxmesh = "mammalian_01_cruiser_bow_L1_mesh"

If you change this to

entity = {
name = "mammalian_01_Battlecruiser_bow_L1_entity"
pdxmesh = "mammalian_01_cruiser_bow_M1S2_mesh"

In game this would then present you with the bow with the large turret section. Bear in mind you will also have to change the corresponding section in the component_templates otherwise you will only be able to fit a medium turret despite it appearing to be large. The same applies for custom ships but clearly the models need to be present in the mod and I haven't looked into this mod yet.

@John McCreedy if you end up doing those changes yourself, could you explain how here so we can do so? That, or if the author allows, upload your version?

Sadly this is not fully compatible with NSC3 like it was with NSC2, certain sections have been removed and changed so now show as vanilla mixed with this mod. That being said, this mod has not needed to be updated since NSC2 came out and NSC3 isn't long released so there is every chance the author might still do it. Nonetheless, it's very easy to do for your own personal files by swapping a few names around in the files. The modding wiki can show you how to do this, but don't go uploading it without the author's permission.
