Tips...
...which make it easier: ...Okay - Forget about the old tips! This time it's harder. Much harder! So we need a new strategy:
  • Sort into the trays:
First you might want to look out for border pieces with white stripes . Yup. White stripes is your starting strategy.
Pick them out, and sort them: The white lines have different thickness and some fade into yellow or pink. So you'll know which stripes belong together - and also where they belong.

    Examples:

→ That way you can build up whole lines in your big puzzle!

  • Diagonal patterns are more rare than plain vertical/horizontal ones. After a while you'll want to look out for those.

  • Also there are short red pipes. As time went by I also picked those out of the flowing tiles pond.

  • Last but not least there are dark/violet pipes and very white pipes. They might have similar pipe-patterns (horizontal and vertical) as well.

Enjoy!

@Lomex yeah, just noticed it too. Now I place 2 pieces each ten minutes instead of one :D

I'd like to add - look at the shadows, the orange 'shadow' is always to the bottom or right of the white and if purple is anymore than a very thin line then that is to the bottom or right of orage. This help orientate your pieces and cut down on the number of areas it can go. I'm also starting with the diagonal pieces of the image as there are far fewer similar looking lines (most diagonal pieces are at different angles.

Yup it's a pain. After puzzling like 15% in 3 hours I took a break from it until now. I'm so done with anything magenta for today. (...) But hey, I think it can be done. It will take a few sessions though.
