Server side smoke (for Blastcore Edited)

Kuvaus
This mod should be used on servers only. It changes transparency of the smoke from smoke grenades and shells. That should provide better AI compatibility (AI should be spawn by server or headless client that uses this mod). This smoke has better AI block vision parameters. But it is not eye candy for players.

No key provided (server side only mod).

To make all right:
1. Server should use only THIS (Server side smoke) mod.
2. Players should use only Blastcore Edited (standalone or fix versions).

Provide your feedback! I cannot host server and check it!

Had some issues for the past few weeks with something like "Blastcore VEP" errors.

Biggest problem is a mission will lose all it's player slots in the lobby on custom mission launch.

Solution was to remove any vehicle with a Blastcore dependency and spawn it after mission launch as Zeus.
Weirdest item we had to remove was a "aircraft crater" static object to get the player slots back.

If I try this on my client machine (which uses Blastcore Edited of course), with which I host MP games, I get the following error:

Or don't I need this mod for the AI if I'm already using the "full" Blastcore Edited?

Yes, mod should be run on server or host. Because server/host spawn and control AI units. You should notice that this mod makes smoke uglier, but more thick.

No, run this mod alone (you don't any other Blastcore Edited mods on server).

so, can i actually just use this on my dedicated to make AI have less vision through smoke or does it have any other dependency to the original blastcore?
