Opening Notes
So, you want to learn how to die, eh? Well, you've come to the right place! This guide will provide deep insights into various methods of death, and their ups and downs. With enough skill, you'll know the best way to put yourself down in any situation or location.
Early Death
Forgetting To Build A House
Those monsters will eat you up quickly. By not building a suitably strong and secure shelter by nightfall, one can not expect to survive long in the harsh world of Dig Or Die.

Forgetting To Watch The Time
You're just exploring a little bit, checking out the west, when you notice the stars in the sky, and the beasts around you. This method is yet another very easy way to end your playthrough, and can be done easily and early in the game.

Forgetting To Build A Bridge
Needing better health potions, you're making your way over to get fern'd up, when suddenly you take an unwanted plunge, and shake hands with Mr. Crab. This method is educational, as it introduces you to some of the various layers and monsters you can encounter deeper in the world.

Forgetting To Breathe
"Just one more coral."
"Maybe just one more."
"Last one, I swear."

Forgetting Aggro Rules
Believe it or not, those differently coloured fireflies tend to hurt more, and the gems probably aren't worth the onslaught they bring in the night, until you get the right defenses. This method, while slow and active, and requiring some exploration and monster kills, lets you experience death as it would likely occur naturally in game.

Forgetting How To Navigate
Which way do you go? Weren't you just in this cave? Shouldn't this be the way out? These questions are signs that you're about to lose a chunk of your progress.
Dying With Style
Now, those deaths are all well and done, you're striving for something with a bit more puh-zaz! Lucky for you, Dig Or Die features all the tools necessary to create your dream ending.

Forgetting That You Don't Have Wings
This one requires some materials. Get yourself up real high, some place like the highest floating islands, and take a leap of faith! It offers a pleasant view, and you get the rare experience of feeling the wind flowing through your hair, before you reach a sudden stop as you reunite with the planet once more.

Forgetting That Explosions Explode
Boom! Boom! Explosions are cool!

Forgetting That You Are Not A Kung-Fu Master
Melee has not yet been implemented, but points for effort.

Forgetting How To Build
Hey! Who blew up my bridge?

I was expecting this to be a gag-guide, but actually this comes with some unexpected nuggets of usefulness... oh, and humour... Love some gallows humour.
