Windows 10 and Commandos 2:

As you can see a lot of people have been trying to run this game and it simply crashes or loads once.
This simple guide will help you run with no problem the Direct X version needed.

Requirements:

Commandos 2: Men of Courage
dgVoodoo[dege.freeweb.hu] DirectX Software

Installation:

Download dgVoodoo and extract the contents of the "MS" folder and "dgVoodooSetup.exe" into the main installation folder of Commandos 2.

Configuring:

You can configure dgVoodoo by running the dgVoodooSetup.exe program from within your games installation folder.
Before you get started, click on the button circled in red in the picture above. This makes sure the configuration file is written to the correct folder.

Start the game and enjoy.

i have tab+click issue in the game. When i hold tab the cursor changing, but i cannot click or move it. Somebody can help, cause its hard to click every time on the screen corner....

I cant believe that after all my messing around uninstalling, reinstalling from the disk version and changing compatibility settings that it was as simple as UNPLUGGING THE USB DONGLE FOR MY WIRELESS HEADSET. thanks @TiaSa_87

Another possible solution if own a wireless headset:

Disconnect your Wireless Headset USB Dongle before starting the game (I'm not joking that worked really for me and other people too)

I do the following an it works for me:I have a solution that got mine running: ( I have done nothing other than the below and it works )
Untick all of the following, when you right click properties on the game:
* Enable the Steam Overlay
* Use Desktop Game Theatre while SteamVR is active.

Then choose the FORCED OFF options for the following:
* Steam Input per-game Setting
* Use BPM Overlay when Steam Input is Active Per-Game Setting

I didn't buy the game, but it is not the win 10 fix you need (I had thus on win 95) back then there still was a bug 🐛 whith running it..
