Introduction
At first, i was wondering why there is no walkthrough for this game. After playing it for a while, i realized that there is no need for a walkthrough because the game itself is quite straightforward. I ended up decided to make an achievement guide because i got confused a few times when i wanted to complete the side quests (which some, will lead to an achievement).

This guide is image heavy (especially on the last part), so please be prepared.

Bright Beginnings
Finished the game with all four characters to witness the truth behind DarkEnd!

Skill Tree
Maximize all of Griselda (Necromagus), Xia (Primagus), Lucion (Knight-Templar), and Svas (Blood Hunter) 's skill tree.

It's better for you to finish all side quests on your first playthrough to get all weapons, armors, and accessories (especially Mercury Boots and Growth Coin) and then play the game with Milestone leveling on and Growth Coin acc equipped whenever you can (if you can handle it during boss fight, it will be awesome).

Your partner will get a huge amount of exp after you finish the game (my Svas goes from level 42 to 83) so you can prevent grinding by choosing each character as a partner at least once and get the achievement from your second playthrough on the specific character. If you still need some levels, you can farm levels in Forbidden Dimension or in the mice nest in Abandoned Mine.

Here is the list of the characters to make it easier for you to choose the pair.
- Griselda: all rounder
Weapon: Scythe, Lance
Skills: Summon Special, Single and AoE (both multi hit and single hit) Special, Single and AoE Magic, Debuff and Insta Kill Magic
Passive: MP regen, EP charge rate, Atk boost, Matk boost, Insta Kill Chance
Level needed to master all skills: 82

- Lucion: tank
Weapon: Axe, Sword, Mace
Skills: Single (both multi hit and single hit) Special (focused on single target), Single and AoE Magic, Heal, Cleanse, and Revive Magic, Buff and Debuff Special
Passive: Max HP boost, EP charge rate, Guard boost, Counter, Magic Counter, Atk boost, Matk boost
Level needed to master all skills: 85

- Xia: magus
Weapon: Staff, Book
Skills: Single and AoE Magic, Heal Magic, MP drain Special
Passive: MP regen, Matk boost, MP cost reduce
Level needed to master all skills: 85

- Svas: debuffer, (somehow like) tank (because of his crazy HP regen)
Weapon: Claw, Bow
Skills: Single (both multi hit and single hit) and AoE Special (focused on single target), HP drain and MP drain Special, Crit Buff and Debuff Special
Passive: HP regen, EP charge rate, Eva boost, Atk boost, Crit rate boost
Level needed to master all skills: 82

Prime Necromagus
Mastered all Necromagus abilities!

Exalted Primagus
Mastered all Primagus abilities!

Knight-Paragon
Mastered all Knight-Templar abilities!

Peerless Hunter
Mastered all Blood Hunter abilities!

Fredric Achievements

Obtained by finishing side quests given by Fredric. Note that there are some side quests which are not given by Fredric and those won't count for the achievements.

There are 48 side quests from Fredric in total. You have to at least enter an area to receive the area's quest. Note that there is an optional area called Forbidden Dimension which has some side quests required for the achievement.

All of the side quests involves in drop item gathering and boss slaying. The drop items can be gathered by killing all enemies in the specific area (some item will only drop in the hidden room of the area), and the boss slaying quest will be finished once you killed the boss in the hidden room of the area.

For "A Dreamy Girl's Request" 2 and 3 which requires you to slay Lucky Mouse and Luckier Mouse, you can farm for them in the mice nest in Abandoned Mine. They tend to flee and has a high evasion rate, so you might want to complete "It" side quest first before doing it (go to It section for more info).

Beginner
Finished 10 quests from Fredrick. A small step but admirable!

Wayfarer
Finished 20 quests from Fredrick. You got it rolling!

Journeyman
Finished 30 quests from Fredrick. That’s a lot of quests!

Adventurer
Finished 40 quests from Fredrick. Almost there!

Quest Master
Finished all available quests from Fredrick. Congratulations!

Note: if the achievement didn't unlock, you have to download a patch given by the dev here and follow the instruction on the link.
Other Achievements
- Forbidden Dimension (Optional Dungeon)
In order to go to Forbidden Dimension, you need to collect all 4 epitaphs which is earned from Rudolph's side quest.

Talk to Rudolf to get the side quest.

Note: The hidden entrances spawned randomly and even if you find one, it won't guarantee that it will take you to the place you are looking for.

Lost Epitaph: Genesis
Find a hidden entrance to Grotto in Corrupted Forest.

Kill the guardian and take the chest behind it.

Return to Rudolf to get another side quest.

Lost Epitaph: Awakening
Find a hidden entrance in Abandoned Mine.

Kill the guardian and take the chest behind it.

Return to Rudolf to get another side quest.

Lost Epitaph: Exodus
Find a hidden entrance to Pit of Fire in Burning Caverns.

Kill the guardian and take the chest behind it.

Return to Rudolf to get another side quest.

Lost Epitaph: Termination
Find a hidden entrance to Drowned City in Frozen Ravine.

Kill the guardian and take the chest behind it.

Return to Rudolf to finish the side quest chain.

Dark Dimension
Go to Forbidden Dimension which is randomized in one of the floors of Dark Dimension.

Place all epitaphs on all of the pedestal (from left to right: Genesis, Awakening, Exodus, Termination) and go to the opened portal.

Forbidden Dimension
Go to the very end of the room and challenge the boss.

Note: This boss is harder than any boss you'll ever face so make sure you are prepared. Mercury Boots (+1 turn acc) and tons of Full Potions can help a lot.

Meet your Maker!
Defeated the hardest hidden boss!

Go to the treasure room on the back and take one of the treasures. There are 13 treasures on the back so if you want to take them all, you need to defeat the boss several times (you got 1-2 keys per battle).

The treasures contain almost-ultimate weapons (almost because you can upgrade it to ultimate weapon through Frederic quest) and ultimate armors in the game.

Note: If you want to get all treasure chests in one go, make sure you go to the treasure room after you have 13 keys. You can't return to the boss room after you go to the treasure room without reentering it from Dark Dimension again.
- It
Take the side quest from Old Man in Abandoned Mine (spawns randomly in one of the floor).

If you are lucky, you'll enter mice nest when you are going through the floors in Abandoned Mine.

Take "It".

It
You found it. Use it to get them!

Return to Old Man.
You can choose to give the "It" back to the Old Man or not.
Keep saying no to the Old Man to get Straw Cape, an armor to 100% hit the hard-to-hit all mice in the game. Strangely, the same cape also dropped by Lucky Mice. However, you also need "It" to 100% hit the mice so don't bother looking for the cape from item drop.

Note: You have to equip the cape first in order to equip the stick. After you equip both of them, you'll have a new skill, Mouse Catch!, which can always one hit the mice. If there are two mice, remember that you can attack with same character more than once per turn by using arrow keys.
- Desolation of Hope (Fairy)
Take the side quest from Fairy in Corrupted Forest (spawns randomly in one of the floors).

Find a hidden entrance to Cave. It is generated randomly so it doesn't have to be in this place and even if the entrance spawned, it doesn't guarantee that it will take you to the Cave.

Talk to the Kobold in the Cave.

Return to the Fairy. Again, the Fairy spawned randomly in one of the floors so you have to test your luck again. I suggest you to save before returning to the fairy because you'll get different achievements based on your choice.

If you choose to let the fairy live (first option)..
Just a Pebble in a Pot
You let the fairy live but she is trapped in delusion forever. Maybe, it’s for the best.

If you choose to kill the fairy (second option)..
Rest in Pieces
You killed the fairy to put her out of misery. Maybe, it's for the best.

Extras
- The Broken Sword (Raja)
Take the side quest from Raja in Frontier (he's west from the save orb).

Find a hidden entrance to Room in Desolated Castle. It is generated randomly so it doesn't have to be in this place and even if the entrance spawned, it doesn't guarantee that it will take you to the Room that you are looking for.

Kill the monster.

Return to Raja.
- Hidden Shop
There is a hidden shop in Dark Dimension which sells high tier weapons and armors and tons of good items and accesories. You can access it in one of the floors in the said area (if you are lucky, that is).

@Tyler Durden: strange. you should be able to get it when you enter the dungeon for the first time. perhaps you can try creating a new save to see if that works?
