I really wanted to find out how to upload screenshots when the F12 for screenshots function was missing. I also noticed people had screenshots in the screenshots tab in the community hub but didnt really explain how. After some experimentation and some youtube videos that where almost correct I found it, hurray! time to upload people!

For the purpose of this guide, this is the picture we want to upload without F12 & Steam overlay


To do this first you need to find another screenshot that you have on steam, like in my case Deadpool .
Click "View" in the top left cornerof steam, click "Screenshots", choose a game and click "Show on disk"


Depending on the game the numbers at the top address may vary, but you should have a similar screen.

Click the "remote" tab, here there will be alot of files with numbers, these are game app ID's. You need to add the game app ID of Panzer Corps to this folder, this can be seen on the storepage or community hub.
I allready did that, the app ID is 268400 now make a new file with that name, and inside make a "screenshots" folder and a "thumbnails" folder inside the screenshots folder.

This is how my pathway looked like.

Now go play the game and take the screencap you want, in this case the Afrika Korps background.
Save it as a .jpg file ( for example use printscreen button and paste into paint and save as 123.jpg)
Finally paste the desiered screenshot into the "screenshots" folder and "thumbnails" folder, restart steam and relog.


Go back into Screenshots and wham, the screenshots should be there under "Panzer Corps" ready to be uploaded!

Now you can go crazy with screenshots in Panzer Corps too! , this way you can even edit screenshots before you add them to steam.
