Version 2.1.6 for Stellaris 3.14.x "Circinus".

As a Doctor Who fan, I've decided to create this mod, so I can play as or against the eerie Cybermen.

Features:

  • 7 Playable Cyber races (having each one different portraits):
    • Mark I Cybermen (The Tenth Planet, World Enough and Time / The Doctor Falls)
    • Mark II Cybermen (Tomb of the Cybermen, Wheel in Space)
    • Mark III Cybermen (The Invasion, Revenge of the Cybermen, etc.)
    • Mark IV Cybermen (Earthshock, Silver Nemesis, etc.)
    • Cybus Cybermen (Rise of the Cybermen, Age of Steel, etc.)
    • Mark VI Cybermen (Nightmare in Silver, Death in Heaven, etc.)
    • Concept art Cybermen (just because)
  • Playable Cryon race
  • 6 pre-made Cyber empires + Mondasian empire
  • 4 Custom Systems:
    • Mondas System (when alone)
    • Telos System (with neighbour Krelos System)
    • Sol System with Mondas in opposition to Earth
    • Cyber-Control System
  • 1 new trait.
  • Custom Cyberman name lists (leaders, ships, planets, armies).
  • 3 new flag symbols.
  • English, Spanish and Russian localisation.

Future features:
  • Archeological site on Telos when not playing in that system.
  • New Cybermen design (Ascension of the Cybermen, The Timeless Children).
  • Crystal ships for the Cryons.
  • More races (Time Lords, Sontaran, Ice Warriors...)

Possible but improbable future features:
  • Custom Cybermen ship models (if I can find someone who knows how to use Maya...)
  • Animated portraits (the same as above)
  • Mondasian colony ship + BH system (World Enough and Time / The Doctor Falls)
  • Event chain leading to the upgrade of your citizens into cybermen.

If you find any bugs or problems, please let me know :)

Thanks to Holungard for the Russian translation :D

Shows up on my mod list and I can load previous saves, but Stellaris no longer recognizes the portraits or traits that this adds. Except for the Mondasian start. Name lists are unaffected.

I've thought of an idea for a potential Cyber paragon if you ever find the time to add more to the mod: Cybernaut Zogron, a cyberleader who was supposedly one of the pioneers of the interstellar Cyber empire.

Here's his wiki article for more info: https://antifandom.com/tardis/wiki/Zogron

I don't intend for this to come across as putting pressure on you and if you're too busy to add him any time soon I understand.

I always thought the Cybermen would be better off as a necroid sort of group, as they do need some biological entity to turn into a cyberman. Lytton and a couple of other men were being transformed into cybermen, with Lytton telling the Doctor to leave him behind has he had reached a point of no return in the process and wanted to die rather than become a cyberman.

Hey I just absolutely love this mod and I use it nearly every session I play whether it's solo or with friends.

I have run into one issue however, your mod is incompatible with the Z-99 Trait Selections mod that my friends and I use, every time I use the Cybermen to build a species it defaults back to the vanilla number of trait picks.

I have already messaged the author of that mod about a possible compatibility patch but I also wanted to contact you about the same, Just in the off chance that there might be something super simple that you could tweak to allow for compatibility.

thank you, both for all the wonderful work you've put into this mod and all the future features you've listed to come. Cybermen Race Mod is by far one of my favorite mods out there.

If you get the urge, it might be fun to add the Cyberons as well. https://tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Cyberon

Hey, I was doing a game with Cybermen as Driven Assimilators. It was all going well, cybermen pops building with Mondans and Cryons as mechanical. I went synthetics as I thought that would allow me to assimilate straight to cybermen but it did nothing. I couldn't get any robo modding points on the cybermen, basically it was a wasted ascension as it did absolutely nothing. What did I do wrong? The only thing I could think was that cybermen species is cyberman and not a machine or robot, is that what messed it up?

Does this mod require any specific DLCs?
