This guide is to help people with low-end PC's or graphical lag issues. It worked for me but may not work for you.

Esse guia é para ajudar pessoas com PCs mais antigos ou com problemas de lentidão gráfica. Funcionou para mim mas pode ser que não funcione para você. Guia em português ao final.
English Tutorial
First you need the program to extract que archive. I don't know if the program is legal so just google GRAW Bundle Extractor and you'll find.

NOTE: Changing the resolution sometimes works better with the graphics.

  • Extract the program in your C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Bionic Commando\bundles
  • Run the program and open the quick.bundle.
  • Now open quick bundle > data > settings > graphic_quality.xml
  • Use Extract Node to Steam\steamapps\common\Bionic Commando\data\settings (or anywhere you want, but you'll need to put the archive in this folder).
  • Open graphic_quality.xml with an editor (Notepad).
  • Change the value=" " between <graphic_setting_high> - </graphic_setting_high>, medium and low versions too.
    Ex: <var name="mesh_quality" value="high"/> to <var name="mesh_quality" value="low"/>
  • Save the file and put in the folder Steam\steamapps\common\Bionic Commando\data\settings.
  • Run the game.

Primeiramente você precisará do programa para extrair o arquivo. Não sei se ele é legal, então procure GRAW Bundle Extractor no google.

NOTA: Mudar a resolução as vezes funciona melhor do que mudar apenas os gráficos.

  • Extrair o programa para C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Bionic Commando\bundles
  • Abrir o programa e abrir o quick.bundle.
  • Agora abra quick bundle > data > settings > graphic_quality.xml
  • Usar o Extract Node para Steam\steamapps\common\Bionic Commando\data\settings (ou qualquer lugar que você quiser, mas você precisará do arquivo nessa pasta para funcionar).
  • Abrir graphic_quality.xml com algum editor (Notepad).
  • Mudar os value=" " entre <graphic_setting_high> - </graphic_setting_high> e as versões medium e low também.
    Ex: <var name="mesh_quality" value="high"/> para <var name="mesh_quality" value="low"/>
  • Salvar o arquivo e colocar na pasta Steam\steamapps\common\Bionic Commando\data\settings.
  • Inicie o jogo.

Sorry mate, my GPU is literally dying, I don't think this game will run.
You'll lose most of the blur, bloom and shadows in low settings, besides that the game don't have bad graphics.

I didn't said the google image was from high, it's medium - high, because you can't really play on low by default.
If I remember right, I put in the same screen size settings 1920x1080, but in my pic the graphics is all in low.

So... I'm not sure I understand this right. Do the graphics on HIGH really look like in the first screenshot?

The graphics in the second photo was taken in minimal settings on my PC, I got more than 30FPS boost with it, I don't remember why I've taken a photo from Google, probably because it was very laggy to finish the first mission.

I dunno why they didn't let all the options in the menu, looks like the default settings was high and we can't change much about it, the first time I've opened the the file most of the settings was high or medium.

Sorry I can't help you too much, I've made this guide 3 years ago.

How dramatically do the graphics really improve? Why was the first screenshot "found on Google"? Can you post your own comparison please?

Do I understand this correctly? The devs had the graphics settings implemented all along, but chose to not show them in the game's menu (for whatever reason)?
