didn't realise he was replacing the S2 script, well C++ will open it up to a lot of people who already know that scripting. TBH Arma scripting is about as much as I can manage ;) free time/age/abilities all stack up against learning some new language. Took me years to learn just PHP, *literally* years lol. I do admire this engine though, brilliant what he has done with it in the timescale so far, amazing. Looking forward to playing some games from it in due course.

I would recommend learning C#. The engine will be getting C# which is going to replace the S2Script. If you are wanting to get more into coding rather than GameMachine (or even both) I would highly recommend learning C#. Microsoft have some free training courses to learning C# on the MVA website :)
