@alborzka, it's called 'X2' and is a 1x2 L1 Low residential.

So in your model every curve has hundreds of segments. This level of detail is completely lost in the game. I'd be tempted to model the indents in the facade completely in the normal map, but if you want to do it in geometry, don't use curves with more than 16 segments.

As for your texture, the way to use less texture space while preserving detail is to reuse them. For example the left and the right side of the building could be mapped onto the same area in your texture. You can't even see the left side and the right side at the same time so you won't notice.

I can give you more feedback if you want.

Yay for adding more dutch buildings to the workshop! However, a 2048x2048 texture is way to big. You should target 512x512 for this. Also you model has over 10,000 triangles, realistically it should probably not be more than 1000 for a building so small.

Heey Gecko,

I first wanted to make some dutch row houses. But then i got into 16th century buildings :P Silvarret said he lacked some 1900 houses but moddeling 16th century houses are way more interesting :P so yea i hope something is comming up. Still learning how to import properly and fix the lighting issue.

Ok, if you want great quality I understand but I try to have an asset list as optimyzed as possible because my laptop is not super powerful... :) ... I am trying to get into asset creation but I've not published anything yet so I won't do the pro who knows better but the texture would probably be good enough with 1024x1024... But then again it's your work, and you want top quality so I get it ;)
Anyway, it looks great, and I saw under one of Silvarret's videos that other buildings are on the way? Keep it up!

The model is quite complex. A lot of detail. However it also has a big texture map (2048x2048) and next to that diffuse map, it has a specular map, bumb map and 2 other maps. I just use it in between buildings and lock the upgrade thing so it wont upgrade. If you make 1000 houses of these... yea idk... that might be problematic for some pc's in the end? I just wanted to create some models that have a lot more detail compared to some oter assets out there.

1 side note.... I dont know how to optimize the model :P it has some organic elements consisting of a lot of triangles. Dont know hot to fix that :P

It looks very nice, but the file size is quite big for a growable... Maybe it has to do with the texture size? :)
